Happy new year. May God bless us all. Especially bless athiests

The trick is to always start off in the right typeface.

How much Holy Spirit is there?
More than we will ever need.
Use all you want,
theres plenty more
where that came from.

You cant see the Holy Spirit,
but it`s there.
I dont know where its from.
Its just always been around.

     ...................................

New year

New improved Bro Peter

I have faith and hope that this year is the
best one yet for us all. Its all we have at the moment and so we are responsible for making the most of it.

My love to all yours

Bro Peter

Ps (sung in cheery voice) Gods the boss of me now. Gods the boss of me now and He always will be.

I am not desperate, but just want to inform women in this universe that I am available.

Hi folks, this is an outreach blog to let the women in the universe; via those that look at my blog, know that I am an outsider artist and  a single dad who would like to have some female company on this roller coaster journey which we know as life. Do we take it seriously?

theartistpgkimble@talktalk.net

Hmm, I ought to share my thoughts about the spiritual journey. I know a devout Hindu couple. They are young, with a child and practise abstinence from sex. This could be something for more of us to consider. Should we be looking for intimate platonic relationships?

This amongst other things, makes me wonder if my life is meant to be devoted to service to God alone. Christ has no feet on earth now but mine! That of course is not for me alone to say, as we can many of us choose to follow Jesus and become the body of Christ here on Earth.

Buster is a bit agitated and so I had better take him out now.

As one of my sons stayed overnight and likes to get on this computer, Its in Gods hands as to is I better blog goes on later. I am doing the intercessions in All Saints church Luton tomorrow, so please pray that I am guided by the Holy Spirit.

May God bless you all.
Your brother in Christ, Peter

Not drowning but waving.(stevie smith is dead, but is still alive in our hearts.)

Ahoy there. Why cannot an outsider arti8st like me let the universe know that in this little town in which I live called Luton, their is not one female I am attracted to, or is attracted to me. Yet, shout out, come on you, the wonderful  lady that has decided you cant be a nun, who is somewhere out there in this magnificent world.
 contact me. theartistpgk@talktalk.net.

Go 4 it. I spent six years living and creating art and two wonderful sons in the Philippines, before coming back to the united kingdom. My God, (this I pray with sincerity) the only thing keeping me from becoming a monk, is I believe that even if I have to travel to Timbuktu, I am meant to love another woman. ARE YOU HER? ASK YOURSELF!

I have to spend a lot of time here in England, to be with my family. Oh yeah, there is also Buster my German Shepard. God bless Buster, as he has been heaven sent.

I do appreciate  my blog getting between thirty to  fifty hits a day and ask God to bless all who see what I write. Even those who doubt God`s or my existence! I do try to think good thoughts, speak good words and do good actions. Saying that, I shall leave you now with this;

How much Tao (Gods love) is there?
More than you`ll ever need.
Use all you want,
theirs plenty more
where that came from.

Bless you and all our endeavours,
Your brother Peter

Merry Christmass. Jesus wept and so did eye. God I am happy.

The above is a triptych which I painted yesterday. Done on some canvases which were a present. Also got some paint. Buster got quite a few treats also.

One of my favourite presents was a book, The Inner Life, by Thomas a Kempis. I was going to say that I have almost finished it. No, that's not the case. I have almost read it through for the first time. Here is a short piece, which I would like to share with you. Also I shall spend a long time today praying it and meditating on it, one word at a time.

` O most blessed grace, that makes the poor in spirit rich in virtues, and the richly blessed humble in heart! Come, descend on me! Fill me with your comfort, lest my soul faint from weariness and dryness of mind. I pray, Lord, that I may find favour in Your sight, for Your grace is sufficient for me, even if I obtain none of those things that nature desires. However often I am tempted and troubled, I will fear no evil so long as Your grace remains with me.`

Well my brothers and sisters, may the love of God which passeth all understanding, be with you now and always.

Peace and love to you from, your brother Peter

I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all I love you all

I do hope that we all have a productive and loving day. That we find time to step out of our own concerns and give prayer, or thought for others. We are all connected, whether we realize it yet or not. The Buddha realized it and became One with the universe. Jesus realized it and wept for us, before his journey to the cross.

          THINK GOOD THOUGHTS

          SPEAK GOOD WORDS

DO GOOD ACTIONS     and love everybody

Good day my brothers and sisters. The above is the painting mentioned in the title. At the top is a photo I took whilst exercising the Buster between eight and nine am.

                        IN THE MORNING

In the morning we remember God as the origin and goal of our life, something sacred which we have been given to live; we need time to ponder on the meaning of life, something which we can only explore one day at a time, constantly returning to God, the source of life and of our hopes for fulfilment. to expore the meaning of life is to begin a journey in search of God.
These prayers are dominated by the image of light: we cannot live without it. The light of the sun is an image of Jesus Christ who rised in our hearts and minds, and gives warmth as well as light. The created world reflects the glory of God who remains invisible, at the heart of creation. The sight of the things God has made shoud turn us inwards to look for the source of thier beauty and energy.

O God, creator of light, at the rising of your sun this morning, let the greatest of all lights, your love, rise like the sun within our hearts.      Amenian Church.

O Lord, when I awake and day begins,
Waken me to your presence,
Waken me to your indwelling,
Waken me to inward sight of you,
and speech with you and strength with you,
that all my earthly walk may waken into joy
and my spirit leap up to you all day all ways.
                                        E. Milner-White

Eternal Father of my Soul,
Let my first thought today be of you,
let my first impulse be to worship you,
let my first speech be your name,
let my first action bet to kneel before you in prayer.

Buster my good sheperd dog. Seek and Ye Shall Find.

                                                             Seek and Ye Shall Find
Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh is shall be opened.
                                                                                                                   (matt.7:7-8)

This was the simple invitation Jesus gave to us all. For us to begin our spiritual quest for purpose, fullfillment and meaning by starting with prayer. The search for answers to what we need, want and answers to critical turning points or crisis are found through diligent prayer. Frin humble posture of prayerful moments spent on bent knees many seekers have received vivid answer of hope and at other times a resounding no when one door shuts, but onother opens to a new possibility. Christ, Jesus, gave us the promise that if we seek diligently we will be rewarded for our seeking.

We should think of ourselves as travellers asking for guidance, whilst making a new road through uncharted land. If we fail to ask we may wander lost for only God knows how long. Yet with time spent in diligent prayer then our questions will be answered.

Our earnest seeking with consistant practice (and this is perhaps the difference between a practicing Christian and a believer.) of prayer will enhance our journey and our lives. Everyone who prays and seeks with an earnest heart will receive. Rich, poor, young, old, man or woman. All people can be seekers and are welcome through grace to ask the Lord to grant them mercy and fulfill their needs.

My eldest son is here now and was good enough to do some of Buster`s training with him. I had better end this blog here and have some father/son and dog time together.

Love and peace to all beings, Your brother in Christ, Peter.

Monday 26 December 2011

Out in the dark with Buster my dog at 5am. This was the picture/no flash.

Dark but you can see trees against the sky!

Well my brother and sisters, its boxing day and we have a few days until the new year. I shall start practicing my new years resolution. Though I shant be divulging it, as its between me and God. Saying that I expect the fruits shall be seen by others.

    THE PROTECTION OF CHRIST
                 Christ as a light
           Illumine and guide me
Christ as a shield overshadow and cover me!
Christ be under me! Christ be over me!
                Christ be beside me,
              On left hand and right!
Christ before me, behind me, about me!
Christ, this day, be within and without me!

                  St Patrick

Oh yes, a bit more about the picture I took. I was reflecting at the time how we ought to be careful of our steps when walking in the dark.  Lest we fall into a hole, or trip over an obsticle. How about though we keep in mind to be on guard also in the daylight, for the unseen traps sent us by the enemy of all that is good. These obsticles and pitfalls will often be discuised as something good!

Have a good day my brothers and sisters. Especially my love goes out to the one special lady, whom only God knows when, where and if we will get to meet. He is teaching me to trust and be patient.

God bless you all. Your brother Peter,   aka watchman Kimble

Tomorrow is Christmas day and my birthday and Happy Christmass to you all.

Good day to you, my brothers and sisters. May blessings be showered upon you at this wonderful time

My favourite saint at the moment is St Feofil. the Fool for Christ.
He wore a slipper on one foot and a boot on the other. Look him up if you would like to know more. Anyway, following is one of his short writings which is good for aspiring Christian mystics as well as others on a spiritual path.

If you are praised, be silent. If you are scolded, be silent. If you incur losses be silent, If you are saitiated, be silent. If you are hungry, also be silent. And do not be afraid that there will be no fruit when all dies down; there will be! Not everything will die down. Energy will appear; and what energy.
St Feofil. the Fool for Christ.

Hmmm, I shall leave you now with my musing on the question I came up with some time ago and have tried out differant answers. Its a bit of a Christian Zen question.

Whats the answer to the question that doesnt exist?

ans: LOVE
Love was present before the universe as God is Love. Love is the true answer to all things.

I leave you now to walk into town and buy my sons a few little presents.

Merry Christmass to you all and a prosperous new you.
Your brother in Christ, Peter.

Fish on Friday

#Good day brothers and sisters. I like the picture below, which was taken within minutes of the one below. Firstly as the trees are almost deviod of leaves. Only a few dead ones hanging on for goodness knows why.

Like the picture yesterday its almost as if its been shot in black and white. It hasn't. The other thing that I wanted to share was the way the branches of these trees bent all over the place and yet also appeared to be trying to touch each other. So now we have the bleak mid winter. A time for some - including me - to be stiller and reflect on the past year and look forward to the coming one.

The picture above, I took this morning of the Buster by an evergreen bush that has grown bent. It has grown, like this for some reason beyond my ken. Not groan. Though who knows.

The fish on friday bit.

From Entering The Castle by Caroline Myss

Here is a healing prayer for you:
I am in need of healing and I release the way of my healing path into your care. I know that I am graced by a miracle because all who ask for your intervention are received. I am grateful for my healing. I believe in the grace of miracles. I know all can be healed and that all of life is your creation and in your care. My jov is to trust and to follow the guidance of my self within the text of each day. In this way , I serve a lifestyle of miracles. Where healing is needed, let that grace flow abundantly and let me serve that and let me be served by that. As the mystic Julian of Norwich wrote, "All will be and all will be well and all manner of things will be well."

You Are a Container for God in This World
Whenever societies have cycled through crises, mystics have arisen to address them. Like hidden angels of the divine, the emerge in eviry walk of life. Today, mystics without monasteries are wives and mothers, husbands and fathers, teachers and lawers, bankers and docters, soldiers and policemen, therapists and writers, social workes and salespeople. They are everywhere.

Mystics salvage the good of one culture and carry those treasures into the birth of the next. Mystics are not silent containers of God, make no mistake. Many are the loudest noisemakers. They wrestle with the great questions of life and death. They remind a people and a society of its principles and its vision. They inspire others through their example of living in accordance with their souls` direction, through their intensity and clear sightedness. Mystics recognize the signs that a society`s soul is starving and has gone unconscious.
Mystics have the courage to see through common fears. They see beyoud calls for destruction and violence as means for solving problems. They see the contradictions in others` statements-for instance, that war creates peace.
The one great difference between Teresa`s (Teresa of Avila) time and ours is that God`s new mystics are everywhere. And the new mystic should rightly be called a mystical activist.
Yet the journey itself has not changed. There is no shortcut to God. Centuries may have passed since Teresa wrote her masterpiece, but her genius, wisdom, and guidance are as valuable today as in the sixteenth century.
                                    To be continued..............
I must go and pick my boys up now and do some shopping for presents.  May the love of God be with you and shine through you to bless all. Your bro Peter

I am a being in the universal church of Love. Here are three favourite trees.

Good day to you. May peace and love surround you, imbue you and flow out to all others. I took this photo about half an hour ago, when I went over the park with Buster. I am becoming interested in shape and tone more than colour, when it comes to some images. Also, because the trinity is special to me, as are a lot of things, I was struck by the three trees so close together. Its as if three isnt a crowd for them. Apart from Christianity, three is imprtant for many faiths. Remember I said that I, amongst others had wondered if the three wise men were Zoroastrians? Well Zoroastrians traditionally pray three times a day. Some wear a kusti, which is a cord knotted three times to remind them of the maxim, `Good words, Good thoughts, Good deeds.` Their name for God is Ahura Mazda. My name for God is John. Yep like him, I can also inject a bit of humour into life.

My child, a radical change is made in your life when you focus, clearly, upon one principal aim... to run through all your personal ambitionsm all your relationships. The aim which will integrate your personality is a simple one: that in some way you will extend My Kingdom of love, even in situations which seem to contain formidable barriers against this happening.

Begin by deliberately bringing this aim to Me, for my blessing - even if you have made promises of this kind previously. I will have your aim before Me! I will honour that aim - not only on accasions when you yourself remember it, but when you are temporarily distracted from remembering it.

Each encouter with another person is under the influence of My Kingdom - to push back, a little further, those forces which darken this world. Thank Me each day that you are used to establish My rule of love.

Fix your mind on God`s Kingdom
and his justice above all else.
                                                         (Matthew 6.33)

Back to this physical world now. I take out some clothes from the washing machine and put them on the line. Do some housework, then go down town and buy some food. This afternoon I will be going and having 1 1/2 hours with Kate my forensic art theraphist.

I have no idea what you are doing. Okay, I know as you are reading this then I hope you will give me a good thought and a SMILE. If you can pray for more peace in this world, perhaps focusing on world leaders whos power doesnt appear to be focused with loving intentions. Pray their hearts are opened to the universal energy of giving love out. Blessings be upon you all. Your brother Peter.

Peace, love and joy to all who visit my blog today

Good day to you. I had help to put the above video on the blog. The only way it was possible was by reducing the size of the file. So this took the number of pixels right down. So the smaller the screen on which you look at it, then the more clearer the image will be. Also you may have to turn the volume of your speakers right up. The computer chap that showed me how to do this and is going to send me notes on how I could do it on my own; said I would be better off posting any films on youtube and putting a link on the blog.

                                                           WARNING
ALL SUFFERING IS CAUSED BY DESIRE. DO NOT FEED
   THE CRAVING FOR THE EGO
Protect yourself with mantra; om mani padme hum
om is the same thing as Christ. The real om is the sound of creation. In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God and the word was God.

Kleem Krisnia Govindia Gopijia Balibia Swaha
The above mantra will envoke Christ to defend yourself from the demons of greed, envy, hate etc.

I am just sharing this as they are working for me and may be of use to you. The intrinsic path of all great faiths is to deny yourself and follow a higher path, or way. In Christianity, Jesus said `I am the way, the life and the truth`. Or words to that effect.

I must leave you now, as one of my sons wishes to use this device. I am sure the Buster would enjoy me taking him over the park now. So peace and soham to you all.  Your brother Peter

LOVE thats too big to get in one picture

Buster is running about over LOVE
Good day my brothers and sisters. Both those of you in Christ and those yet to how great is His LOVE. Yesterday I went and wrote the word LOVE in letters too big to get in one picture. To illustrate this, there is the blurred image of Buster running down the E.
Doing this `Peace` of art helped me to realize that LOVE can be so great that we can only experience a small portion. Just think that thats why it says in The Bible, ` the love of God which passes all understanding.`
**********************************************************************
ON LOYALTY TO CHRIST
Be loyal to Christ by your love for the blessed Sacrament. Faith taught Thomas to behold in the Sacred Host Him who said, "This is My Body!" It was, therefore, his greatest delight and duty to attend the holy Sacrifice daily, to serve the priests of Christ, his greatest delight and duty to attend the holy Sacrifice daily, to serve the priests of Christ, and to recieve Christ in Holy communion, can this also be said of us?
***********************************************************************
The following is by Ernest Holmes
The law of life operates upon the images of your thought. If your thought is restricted and unhappy, you will be causing It to create restricting and unhappy circumstances. Only a two inch stream of water can flow out of a two inch pipe. A gallon measure will hold but four quarts. This would be true even though you dipped your measure into the ocean. You are not limiting the ocean nor causing it to be evil because you dip up four quarts instead of a barrel. The ocean has no desire to limit you. In a personal sense, it can only give you what you take, for your taking is its givingness in the form of your taking. This is one of the greatest lessons of life. "It is done unto you as you believe."
The law of life is like a mirror. It reflects back to you the images of your thoughts in exactly the way you think them. ( this reminds me of the little mantra I came up with to sometimes go over either in my mind or out loud; " I`m healthy wealthy wise, I am love encarnate") You cannot say that It is little or that It gives you but a small portion of Itself when you own thought patterns are limiting this gift. Life has already delivered everything It has to you. But your personal experience even that which it has given must, of a necessity, be limited to that which you take.
It is then, of greatest value to learn how to receive more abundantly. Just as one studying the piano patiently goes over his lessons until finally his action becomes automatic, so in using the Life Principle you must be patient with yourself. You must learn to strike the right chord. The right chord is always one of harmony.
Learn to receive more by daily practicing
the presence of Abundance.
Learn to use the Law of Life in a more ex-
pansive manner by daily practicing belief
in it.
At first this may sound strange because proberbly you will say, "I already believe in it." Remember, your belief in It is perhaps somewhat limited by your experience. And so -
You are practicing a greater expectation.
You are believing in more and accepting,
more.
You are opening every channel of your mind
to a larger influx.
*********************************************************************************
Peace and goodwill to you my brothers and sisters. Please pass it on.
Peter and Buster are off to save the day. ttfn

Sunday 18 December 2011

Welcome my brothers and sisters. A special welcome to our three kindred spirits from Botswana.

My brothers and sisters of Light. It is ten past four in the morning. I do hope that this is a good day for us all. Of course I pray this also. Faith, hope and charity. The greatest of these is charity. Is charity just giving with out any thoughts of receiving thanks or acknowledgement of ones giving. Isn't it also being able to accept from others, or the universe without false modesty and yet always being thankful. I am thankful that my eleven year old, Joshua is asleep on a mattress on the floor of the bedroom with Buster our German Shepard beside him. I pray for Gods angels to protect my sons from the evil that can come via other people. Those of you who read this and are also followers of the loving God of all creation, know that I pray for the angels to watch over you and your loved ones.
Be still and know, I Am God.
A Buddhist monk once told a Christian Abbot. `The silence will teach you everything`. and this parallels a story of the desert fathers: `A certain brother came to the abbot Moses seeking word from him. And the old man said to him: "Go and sit in your cell, and your cell will teach you everything." This ability to sit still, in silence, with nothing else except the silence really does frighten many people, and rightly so. Anthony of Egypt explains why: The one who sits in solitude and quiet has escaped from three wars: hearing, speaking and seeing; yet against one thing shall he continually battle: that is, his own heart.`
When they spent time in solitude and in silence people inevitably have to wrestle with their own demons. Indeed, that very phrase to `wrestle with their own demons` is derived from the fathers and mothers of the desert tradition. They speak quite literally of the forces of evil that will tempt the solitary monk or nun away from their solitude, away from the silence and away from their prayers. It is easy to mock the personification of those forces as `devils`, but anybody who has seriously pursued a life of silence and prayer know that those forces are powerfully real, whether personified or not. Throughout our journey to become enlightened beings we should constantly be aware and on guard against the dark realities that can surface once silence and prayer are pursued wholeheartedly. The notion that this silence leads to tranquility is a very modern assumption. The monastic tradition sees any such tranquillity as a short-lived consolation to encourage beginners, which will dissipate once the search for God is pursued with real determination and the demons get to work to prevent and further progress.
This is to jump ahead, however and we must rely not on our own abilities to win the battle. To deny ourselves and say `I know longer live, yet Christ lives in me` and to say `God my heavenly Father, come to my aid and be with me through any and all trials, even to death.` Then we will, with prayer come to the point where these tempory bodies will no longer be of great importance to us. Only loving God constantly and doing his will be in our hearts and minds.
There is no need to reach high for the stars. They are already within you. We are made from star dust. Just reach deep into yourself.

Sunday. A moment of contemplation and am recovering from stinking cold. So to healing.

Good day to you my few but cherished brother and sisters. I was laid low with a rotten cold yesterday, that went on my chest and so didnt fell well enough to blog. So how about I now share some more from The Seventh Mansion. I hope this for you is as powerful as it is for me. A little aside. Someone once said, `if the only prayer you ever say is, thank you Jesus, that will be enough.` When I do that prayer it makes me think of all the things I am thanking him for. Taking on human form. Healing people. Dying for us and then overcoming death. Preparing a place for us to go home after this brief time on earth. Sending the Holy Spirit to be our comfort.
A Moment of Contemplation
Even in the Seventh Mansion, where Teresa merges with God, she encourages us to remain introspective and humble at all times. This is so that, when you are given - or graced with - higher truths, you will be ready to utilize them. You must be willing and prepared to use truth, not just to speak about it, Truth is a tool, a force through which you move life forward, When you go from not knowing that thoughts and attitudes influence your reality to knowing it, you are being given the grace of truth. You must change you life and live according to that truth. You cannot do otherwise. An instinctual gut reaction is guidance, truth from God. You may want to dismiss that guidance because it is too overwhelming and you do not want to become aware of that particular truth, but you cannot deny that you are aware of your guidance. You can no longer deny that you hear the voice of God.
THE MYSTICAL ROOTS OF HEALING
A genuine healing of the body, the heart, and the soul is fundamentally a mystical experience. Besides searching for the meaning and purpose of our lives, we strive to solve the mysteries of our psychic imbalances and physical illnesses. Yet, these days, the need to find the root cause, or reason, for why we break down has become so obsessive that it is a pathology unto itself.
During the years that I gave medical intuitive readings, the people I was trying to help frequently turned their readings into "crime solving" sessions-they were looking for the person or situation that caused the stress or unhappiness that led to their illness or depression or other condition. Many seemed to think that finding this criminal stressor would automatically result in a healing.
Crime solving and witch hunts do not heal, as many people eventually discover. Forgiveness is what heals, not discovering causes, not assigning blame. A genuine healing does not occur in the domain of reason and rational thought. The mind is not an instrument capable of healing the body, much less the heart or the soul. For most people, the mind is full of hissing reptiles that can hardly be silenced-fears, illusions, misgivings, endless anxieties, and misinterpretations of what people have said or done to them. Yet people think this chaotic instrument called the mind has the stamina and focus to dissolve cancer in the cell tissue and stabilize all the systems of the body. Hardly.
Healing is not a rational experience that can be brought about by simply visualizing healthy cells running through your body and replacing malignant ones while the rest of you lives a life so filled with fear that you are unable to make the essential choices you need to in order to release you soul to take over. Unless you are willing to let your soul fully take charge without any conditions, you will never completely heal.
Genuine healing is not physical. It is greater than your rational mind. Indeed, you have to transcend the boundaries and the reptiles of your rational mind to open yourself to the grace that can dissolve illness. During the mystical experience of a healing, your soul becomes more empowered than your body mind, and heart. It frees itself from the ground rules governing you physical body and your physical life. Your soul becomes more empowered than your body when you truly, deeply, unconditionally surrender the whole of your life to the divine-including your need to know what will happen next and whether you are going to be safe and healthy. You need literally or symbolically to get on your knees in a position of humility and break down or break through the control that reason holds over you. Finally, you do the most unreasonable act imaginable-you trust an invisible force much greater than yourself to reorder the whole of your life. Let God clean house for you. The prayer, "Lord, get me out of my own way," helps many people who want so much to be able to surrender in trust, but cannot do it. Then you say, "I let go and let God."
I remember when I must of been around nine or ten years old. I went to our Church, Christ Church, here in Luton. It was not during a time for service and so I hadn't expected to see anyone. I don't know why. I suppose I wouldn't have been surprised to see the vicar. Anyway, what I saw was a stranger lying arms outstretched on the floor. Completely still and in silence. Here was there motionless for ages. Back then I thought the man a bit strange and hoped (cant remember if I prayed!) that he wouldn't suddenly notice me. Now around forty odd years later, I get it.
I can myself get down on the ground and in a position of complete surrender make myself a living cross for prayer.
Its coming up to 8am now and I shall make a coffee and wake my son up, who stayed overnight and then we can take Buster the German Sheppard out in the wintry wood, behind these apartments.
May the power of Love, which my name for is God, be with you today and always. Please pray for the lost ones who have recently stolen from me, to be kept away from my refuge here.
Blessings love and peace be upon you. Your brother Peter

Fish on Friday & the snow reminds us of Christmas here.

Okay this photo above shows my Buster furthest from the camera, and a neighbours dog from this morning over the park.
Good day to the selected, but cherished few that visit my blog. Well the snow reminds us Christmas here. Of course there wasn't any snow in Bethlehem. Well as I was thinking some good thoughts, I pondered if the three wise men could have be Zoroastrians. Do you know, when I put that in the search engine; low and behold others have wondered the same. If there was a Zoroastrian place of worship within a few miles I`d have gone and enquired as to what they thought about it. Of course they may be like Christians and some are very open minded and some narrow! At our church, which is called All Saints I believe we are open to the whole gambit and of course are able to change our views. Then again Luton is such a multi cultural town. You can of course find barrow loads of Churches here, of all different denominations. A handful of Mosques, Hindu temples, a synagogue. There`s a Chinese temple in a house across the road. That's an obscure religion which I cant recall. Not Taoist. Anyway, my point is, in Luton as in the UK generally, we welcome all. In general most are good spiritual people. Or at least that's what we go to our respective places of worship to work at becoming. I remember on a course I attended at a church in the Philippines, the leader said, "It no good saying you believe there is a God, even Satan believe God exists. You must pledge yourself to follow Jesus!"
Well I do. Sometimes I fail and fall. Picking myself up though, or even being given a helping hand, I carrying on with my cross. I did think sometime ago, how come if God came to earth in Jesus and took my wrongdoings upon the cross, how come bad stuff still happens to me. Then I worked it out. Nothing is bad if I no longer live, but Jesus lives in me. Why? Because even if evil is done to me and I say `Father forgive them for they know not what they do", Then that affords me some grace which is good for the soul.
I have met some quite dispicable people over the years. From Ian Brady and the Kray twins here, to a corrupt policeman and his hired killers in the third world. I have met some very saintly people. Yet I have not yet met a human being who I could say is always either 100% good, or bad. I should relish meeting the good one, but would hope to be able to flee in terror at the evil one. I am not saying there arent those who are totally evil through and throught to the very core, but by Gods grace I havent come across their path. How dear it would be to be in the company of one so holy I should want to follow them around as a disciple. Well I guess and this is where the salvation army are onto a winner, I can. Jesus said however you treat the least of my people you treat me. So If I not only am good to those in need, but remember to pray as much as I can and there are so many ways to pray, then hopefully I will shake of the old man and Christ can live in me. The power of prayer is my sledge hammer with which I beat down the ego, when it tells me to seek revenge on those who have lied and stolen from me. The Holy spirit says, `Peter, my child you cannto say you have given your life to follow Jesus and then believe you have ownership over eathly possesions. Your very soul belongs to god in Heaven, your body is here to do His bidding on earth. If I no longer live, but Christ lives in me, then I must pray for those I come across who dont choose yet to follow the path to salvation. My one little prayer for them may make the difference to them done the line. People didnt give up on me when I was in approved school, then borstal, prison and finally Broadmoor. Nor when my darling Tracy died and the police arrested me and put me on trial at the Old Bailey. So if I can get stabbed in the Philippines whilst fighting of thugs trying to kill me, then pray for them, I can let go of bad feelings for people who pretend to be friends and then steal from me. The sad thing is, I dont really own one grain of rice, its all Gods. How about I end this fish on Friday with some scripture from the Holy Bible.
...God`s grace has been revealed, and it has made salvation possible for the whole human race and taught us that what we have to do is to give up everything that does not led to God, and all our worldly ambitions; we must be self-restrained and live good and religious lives here in this present world, while we are waiting in hope for the blessing which will come with the Appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Christ Jesus. (Titus 2:11-13)
So this is your brother Peter wishing you peace and love in the name of Jesus and all the saints.

My Journey back to entering The Castle with St Teresa of Avila.

AUTHENTIC CONTEMPLATION
Some of Teresa`s nuns remarked that they could remain in their states of contemplative ecstasy forever, perhaps trying to impress her with their sentiments. Her response was, "This is impossible." For Teresa, mystical experiences are spontaneous; they have a timeless feel but last only moments, they have a far longer-lasting influence.
As a result, God remains in the soul. God in the walls of your soul has a profound effect on you. For instance, you might usually find it difficult to meditate. Meditation is all about seeking God and is usually a state of mind. But once you`ve found God, the soul doesn`t see any reason to wear herself out searching for God through the intellect, for she has already found a direct route.
There`s an old Zen story of a traveler who encounters a wandering monk with a great burdem of sticks on his back. The traveler asks the monk if he knows the way to enlightenment. The monk nods that he does, so the traveler asks him, The monk immediatly drops his burden."And what happens after the enlightenment?" the traveler asks. In answer, the monk picks up his bundle and continues on his way.
As Jack Kornfield writes in After the Ecstasy, the Laundry, "We all know that after the honeymoon comes the marriage. After the election comes the hard task of governance. In spiritual life, it is th same: After the ecstasy comes the laundry. "Even after mystical union, you life next. You meditate or pray not to avoid your life or your loved ones, but to face them, to be better with them, to do better for them.
There is no place lift to go but directly into the Seventh Mansion, directly into the embrace of the divine.
Exit Prayer
I am a channel of grace. As I leave my Castle, grace surrounds me and grace protects me. I enter my life under the blessing of God and I remain open to receive guidance from my soul.
Have a good day my brothers and sisters. Its nearly 4.45am here in Luton, England. My faithful hound Buster, who like me has been up almost two hours, will enjoy going out for a run. So I had better wrap up warm, put my running shoes on and enter the affray which is today.
May God bless you and keep you in the Love which goes beyond our understanding.

Over the park with Buster shooting without flash.

Good day to you. I like the way the light is moving about in waves.
Can you make Buster out in the picture on the right?
On the left is a nice still photo. Obviously shot in colour. Yet the real light and dark greys are predominant. Just the lights of the town behind to show there is human habitation. I like the shape of the fir trees contrasting with the others.
This is what came from my camera without flash
It was still quite dark as you can see from the top photos. So this is what? A surreal/impressionist Buster the dog?
Funny that the writing is all over the place and yet I am feeling calm, tranquil and apart from having a stinking cold and a headache am looking forward to the day.
Quotes for today (and yes I don't give a quote every day, but then like buses, three can turn up all together.)
Absence of attachment to sense-objects is liberation; desire for sense - objects is bondage. Understand this fact, and then do as you please. ASHTAVAKRA GITA
This is your brother, Peter bidding a good day to all beings. Peace and Love to you all.

Back to the same old street, Yet I am a new man.

Good day my brothers and sisters. I stretched the view dowm the street from my balcony. It reminded me that its good sometimes for us to stretch ourselves. Not just physically, though thats good. See how cats of all sizes enjoy doing it. Also we must also stretch our own view of what our capabilities are. I have been spending a couple of hours dealing with peoples online prayer requests and must get on with some housework. Just a reminder that if anyone wants to email me then I should like to hear from you at theartistpgk@talktalk.net. Bye for now

EVENING POST: In the sixth mansion with saint Teresa of Avila

Good day to you my brother and sisters. The Buster and I are in our apartment doing our own seperate things. Me as you can guess on the keyboard. Buster, I expect you would be able to guess , in a month of Sundays, is curled up asleep. This gives me opportunity and time to share some more writing with you by Caroline Myss;
CHARACTERISTICS OF MYSTICAL
EXPERIENCES
The divine comes upon or speaks to the soul unexpectedly. In the Sixth Mansion, you open yourself to mystical encouters or visitations but you do not expect them. Teresa never expected any of her experiences with God, and this teaching of no expectations is among her most important contributions. Even though these raptures can seem miraculous, Teresa cautions us not to expect miracles. Stay mindful of your limitations; stay humble. You are a vessel, a conduit for grace, not a generator.
One characteristic of the mystical experience is the pain that is not a pain, a sensual, mystical fire that ignites within the soul. The fire takes you over, but, just before the point where you feel that you are about to burst into flames, it goes out, leaving you wanting more of God. The experience ends as instantly as it began, lasting only seconds, not minutes. Another, similar expereince is to feel as if you suddenly burst into flames and a powerful fragrance has engulfed you and spread through your senses. Unlike the pain that is not a pain, this mystical experience activates a divine fire of love.
The divine may also speak to the soul through intellectual visions. These transmissions are in absolutely clear words that are spoken "even though He speaksthem in secret." During an intellectual vision, you are disconnected from the world, and though the soul is able to remember the revelation in every detail, you cannot communicate it verbally. This is a deeper, more personal experience than in earlier mansions when the divine appeared in signs or symbols that you had to interpret. These visions are not fleeting or volitional. During a true vision, a powerful stirring occurs and then suddenly everything goes quiet. Without any effort on the soul`s part, wisdom overcomes unconsciousness and certainty replaces all doubt. Teresa also describes visual revelations, or imaginative visions, which she says are useful because they match up more with our animal nature; our senses are engaged.
In intellectual visions, the soul suddenly feels the presence of God beside her, not with the five senses but through the intellect. According to Teresa, deception is not possible in an intellectual vision. The effects it creates inside the soul are so beneficial that the spirit of evil could never be responsible for them. Goodness flows from the vision. This experience could not be the result of a mental imblance, either, because the results are too glorious. The soul is awash with a profuound serenity and left with a special knowledge of God. God alerts you that he is always beside you. The constancy of devine companionship gives rise to a most tender love for God, awakening a more profound purity of consciousness because the prsence at you side makes your soul more sensitive to everything.
The still, small voice is a common way through which God speaks to us. Yet, many times I have suspected that the voice people tell me they heard was simply their imagination, because the details and demands were fairly earthbound, Every now and again, though, I meet someone who radiates a certain grace that indicates a rich inner life. Now, as ever, if you ask for inner guidance, you are going to receive inner guidance And it will come through your interior channels. A letter will not drop out of the sky into your lap; the phone will not ring with God on the other end, you will not be transported into the next phase of your life without effort.
The Bible and other sacred literature are filled with stories of spiritual voices, from Moses and the burning bush to Mary receiving the message that she was avout to become mother of Jesus. People have told me countless wonderful stories of a voice that told them to sell their homes, or quit their jobs, or that they would marry the man or woman they were with. Two women told me that they heard a voice tell them that, regardless of what the medical tests said, they would indeed get pregnant. And they did.
People often ask me, "I am praying for guidance, but I don`t hear anything. What am I doing wrong?" I have even had people say they must be using the wrong prayers, as if prayers were magical spells. Many people receive responses to their prayers through intuition rather than a direct communication from God, which can be overwhelming. You need a ferocious degree of stamina in order to deal with both the experience of guidance and the message. You need to trust in the authenticity of your experiences and unconditionally trust in God.
Teresa, one of God`s great conspirators, heard the voice of God in many expressions. The five characteristics of a genuine spiritual voice are as valid today as they were a half millennium ago:
1) It is so clear that the soul remembers every word as well as the tone. The messages carry divine power and authority.
2) It is unexpected. Frequently, these messages come when we are preoccupied with other thoughts, and they so thoroughly eclipse the usual mind-body conversation that they jolt us into paying attention. They often reveal a future that the soul never believed could or would happen. Imagination cannot make that up if it`s never accourred to the mind. Because this communication interferes with the rational mind`s preoccupations, it is a strong indication that the communication is not self-generated.
The message also converts into powerful action for good. Imagine a time when you were sad ou upset by something. If a person who truly does not care about you says, "Oh, things will be okay. Don`t worry about it," you would feel no comfort at all. But if someone you love and trust says, "Be not troubled," you would feel that she was sent by God to deliver that message to you.
Many people have shared stories with me of how a dear person happened to show up at the right time, delivering just the right message, a coincidence that they viewed as divinely choreographed, Teresa would hear, "It is I, fear not," during some of her more troubled moments
and would be well. to be continued at number 3
********************************************************
It is time, my fellow travellers in space and time, to bid you goodbye for now. If it is meant by the grace of God for me to continue this writing about an inner path to God and Our Souls, then I assure you this is my desire.
May the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, be with you now and always.
Your brother Peter.

More from entering two more rooms in, The Castle, about St Teresa` spirituality.

THE SECOND ROOM
Are You the Goal or Is God?
You can lose your focus on the spiritual path making yourslf the goal instead of mystical illumination. This happens, understandably, because you are in your body and in your life and your body can become weak and your life can become overwhelming. But your body and your life are in service to your soul - that is the vision you must strive to animate. When you lose your focus and are taken in by an earthly concern that causes you suffering, enter into a dialogue with your soul in which you ask to see the symbolic meaning of your suffering.
Soul Work: Let your soul reveal the deeper meaning of the suffering you are temporarily enduring. Detach from the grip it now has on your life. Rise above the suffering; see it from high above. Ask your soul to illuminate your interior, to transform your suffering into insight and purpose. Pray for this profound act of transformation.
THE THIRD ROOM:
How Do You Embrace Grace?
Grace is divine fire, cosmic power, that runs through your being, calming your body, inspiring your thoughts, healing your physical pain, preventing you from an accident, guiding your inner journey. Grace is the indescribable breath of God entering into your being while you pray. Grace is the energy you call upon to help another person in need of comfort, healing, or inspiration. To embrace grace, become aware of its presence in your life, mindful of the reality of this divine substance.
Soul Work: Ask your soul how you can know grace as an essential force in your life. Pray and be still so that you become aware of what your charism-your special grace-feels like when it inters your system. Practice consciously embracing grace with your soul. Come back to this room. As you practice, your capacity to contain grace for others expands.
BE MINDFUL OF EVIL
Evil was a genuine adversar tor Teresa and had many manifestations. She was not physically chasing demons down the halls of her convent, but she saw evil as ever present, a force against which you must be on your guard. Doubs and fears qualify as the workins of evil; for example, doubting your inner experiences of God is evil. The force of evil finds a weakness in your psyche and takes advantage of it at every possible opportunity. If you have a fear of being rejected, for example, evil would animate that fear every time you felt insecure. You would interpret everything you heard in every conversation through your fear of rejection, drowning out all other reasonable interpretations. This noise in your head would then lead you to make poor choices in your relationships and other areas of your life.
Prayer and faith are your protection. I ance asked a very blessed mystic for advice about some matter that would require that I meet with a person whom I considered harmful. His counsel to me was tho prepare for that meeting by spending a couple of hours in prayer. He said, "You must always prepare to meet evil by building a field of grace with prayer. Evil cannot penetrate grace. " I understood then that the individual I was meeting was not evil; a psycic field of evil had gathered around him and was taking advantage of his fears; as a result he was making decisions that harmed many people. But I built a field of grace that allowed me to be near him and not lose my center.
Evil is a very real force, just as goodness is a real presence in the world. Never be so proud as to believe that because we live in a modern world with electrical lights and plumbing and computers, darkness and the devil have vanished.
*********************************************************************
Copying out the above has given me a peaceful spirit which I hope with prayer will stay with me throughout the day. I pray that it will bring you something positive. With love from your brother in Christ, Peter.

Walk quietly but carry a big stick

Good day. Here are a few of my more natural looking walking sticks. When I was a child, I was told about a crooked man who lived in a crooked house and this gave me the idea to get a couple of crooked walking sticks.
Talking about crooked things, my bank card was stolen yesterday. I went to the bank today and cancelled it. I am well overdrawn and so am glad I realized it was missing. The bank said the last two times it was used was somewhere I would not have used it and the wrong pin was entered. As I said to my son. Bank cards and phones and other stuff can either be replaced or gone without out. Its important to not let the few bad apples stop us liking the fruit!

Buster my dog is going to have to be more my rock when I am feeling lonely. Here are some quotes about dogs I would like to share with you.

Buster my dog. Family guy my sons cartoon and Love, my artwork.

To the rightis my latesr artwork. Red Love stamped on pick board.
Underneath is stewie from Family Guy, which my youngest son wanted to watch for one hour and more with me.
Underneath here of course is the
Buster. I may not have a lady in
my life just now, but Buster consoles me!

Good day folks. Its been a busy weekend. Had one of my sons sleep over Friday night until yesterday afternoon and then had the other one from yesterday afternoon until half an hour or so ago. So I have done a lot more cycling than them over this weekend. Also they have been on my computer a lot more than me. Thats what dads are for though.
Its sunday and I am calling you my brothers and sisters to Jesus.
I call you to Jesus, because He can make you a saint, and the world needs saints. It has plenty of politicians whose decisions have cost the lives of untold millions in foolish world wars and revolutions. It has had plenty of men of science, who provided the rulers of nations with accoutrements of war and now with ultimate weapons. It has had a multitude of missionaries of many religions, which have created the religeous confusion reigning in the world. It does not have saints enough. One more is needed.
You should be this one. "Come to Jesus. "
Take Lord, unto Thyself
My sense of self and lit it vanish utterly.
Take lord, my life,
Live Thou Thy life through me.
I live no longer Lord,
But in me now
Thou livest.
Aye, between Thee and me my God.
There is no longer room for "I" and "mine".

let no thing make you afraid.
All things pass away.
God never changes.
Patience obtains everything.

Saturday; Photo of Buster over the park, this morn and my art.

Good morning folks, or other time, depending on when you are reading this. I took the photo below, about 30 minutes ago whilst exercising the Buster over the park.
The picture above was taken Thursday at my art therapy session.
The lives of mystics suggest that one cannot exist permantly in a stage of bliss until all karma and personality issues have been released, or true liberation occurs.
Unconditional love is not a familier ixperience for most of us, and loving without a particular object is difficult to maintaink so projections are engaged. The personality just naturally wants someone special to give it to.
Learning to love God as expressed in every aspect of the univirse is one of the highest intentions of the spiritual practice, and one of the most difficult to attain.
I shall keep plugging on at it.
You all have a good weekend. This is the Buster and me saying goodbye for now, my brothers and sisters. Your bro Peter.
Boy have I still got a way to go, but am going to keep going.

Okay world, I believe in myself as a good father and a good outsider artist and accept I am pretty crap at presenting myself well on this particular blog (if this wasnt the case, then above picture would be the right way up!) . Maybe though there is an individual or agency that could do a good job at presenting me Peter G Kimble (outsider artist) and my work in such a way as to bring in a few shillings and keep the wolves from the door.

Fish on friday: A peace of art by me and my sister and an unkown lumber jack.

Good day folks. On the way to my art therapy session my sister and I came across a felled tree and rearanged it a bit and then I took this picture.
The tree was probably growing way before I was born. God only knows for sure, but I am thinking that although it is no longer growing, some of its lumber may be around long after I have moved on from this place.
Yet just as it has proberbly seeded other trees and it came from endless generations before it, so have I. The tree without knowing it would have been shelter for people from the rain. Obviously although I have planted the odd tree, I was liking myself as having ancestors and progeny.
Now though as the time is moving into the midafternoon, I am going to spend some time clearing my mind from the clutter of thoughts to do with the past and future. Okay, so in two or three hours one of my sons ought to be coming by to spend the evening and night. For now though and maybe a good hour, I am going to just focus on a line from the Good Book. `Be still and know that I am God.
Peace and love to you and all beings. Brother Peter

Morning post. All Saints Lady chapel

Good day my brothers and sisters.
On the left is a photo I took of our Lady chapel at All Saints church Luton. We are raising money to have it partitioned off from the rest of the church with glass panels. This will mean our heating bills will be reduced, by concentrating the heating on this small chapel. The stain glass panel on the left portrays St Francis, who happens to be one of my favourite saints. My favourite lady saint, after St Mary, is St Teresa of Avila. The following is from a book about her called, `Entering The Castle`, by Caroline Myss.
THE SIXTH MANSION
I was twenty four years old when I first saw a holy man from India and heard him lecture. Not yet having attended graduate school in theology, I had not truly opened up to the messages of spiritual teachers from all world traditions. The holy man was dressed all in white and had a long beard. I still recall his radiant smile. Everyone in the room was awestruck by him, bowing to him, which at the time made me so uncomfortable that I left the room and listened to the lecture from the hall. Distracted, I heard only bits and pieces until almost the end, when I stepped just inside the doorway and heard someone ask, "What is the greatest gift we can give the world?" The holy an smiled and giggled, and replied, "A fully healthy you."
I thought, What a ridiculous answer.
Of course, today I would think, What a wise, wise response. If we could each be fully healthy. what a world this would be. this illuminated soul passed on to me a true gift of wisdom that has guided me ever since to try to help others find their real power.
The Sixth Mansion is a masterpiece of mystical literature, an archive of instruction and wisdom. "If one is not oneself a sage or a saint, " Aldous Huxley wrote, "the best thing one can do is to study the works of those who were, and who, because they had modified their merely human mode of being, were capable of a more than merely human kind and amount of knowledge."
Teresa ascends fully into her role as an illuminated mystic, writing extensively about the signatures of mystical experiences. In this mansion, which could stand on its own as treatise of the soul`s experiences with God, Teresa is authoritative. In the lower mansions, she often asked, "but what do I know?"Here, she discerns authentic from inauthentic mystical experiences with details that would have been unappreciated in an earlier mansion. Every line of instruction in the Sixth Mansion is as applicable to us today as it was to the nuns she four hundred year ago. It is apparent that she intended this to be a no-nonsense instructional classroom for those students who managed to make it this far in their inner pilgrimage. Instructions end at the Sixth Mansion. The seventh Mansion is the experience of being "consumed" by God, taken into Divine consciousness.
As with much of Teresa`s writings, woven in among her profound mystical instructions are praises and prayers written to the divine as her beloved Jesus. This imagery of a passionate relationship to Jesus as a partner in a mystical union can be difficult to comprehend until you consider that Jesus is the equivalent of the Buddha, Krishna, the Great Spirit, the Goddess, or the Beloved in Rumi`s poetry. Teresa is describing a transcendence of the physical, five-sensory world and all its illusions. She reached enlightenment, nirvana. She was released from the wheel of somsara, or however one wishes to frame the cosmic pilgrimage of this great soul who, in the sixteenth century incarnated as St Teresa of Avila.
Teresa understood the pain of betrayal, having been the subject of her fellow nuns` gossip and criticism. But, she points out, praise is equally painful. Both praise and criticism test the ego and the soul; illusions of earthly power can seduce anyone who is unable to remain humble. A rise in power and status always brings challenges, and everyone around you-professional colleagues, friends, or family-will have opinions of your conduct. Few people will praise you, especially if they perceive that your empowerment diminishes theirs. You will be a target of criticism-on that you can count. Thus, it is wise to know how to maneuver through ups and downs, through cycles of power and this empowerment. Teresa gives five specific rule for dealing with your need for praise and vulnerability to criticism. Each is as valuable to someone on a spiritual path as it would be to anyone in the outside world, because the underlying issues concern the management of power, vanity, ego, and the control we give to others over our lives. Here are her rules to hold to in your inner and external life:
* Do not be judgmental. Everyone, including you. is quick to make both positive and negative judgments of others and of the trials God sends us. You never know the truth of what God has in mind. To judge anything is an error.
* Never envy the experiences of others, spiritually or otherwise, because envy reveals a lack of humility. By your actions and attitude, you are demanding to be given what is not rightly yours. To envy the mystical experiences or the spiritual life or calling of others hurts the soul. Envy is a reptile.
* Everything good about you comes from God-your talent, your skills, and all your abilities; thus you should not take credit. To fuel your ego shows a lack of wisdom. Control your ego, be humble about your gifts so that you do not misuse them; when you keep yourself focused and clear that God is truly the source of your gifts, your struggle with being pulled apart by either praise or criticism will cease.
* Remain humble. Do not look for praise. When someone praise you for your gifts, do not let the energy of the praise penetrate your ego or your mind. It will fuel your insecurities rather than support your soul. You will begin to think, What if I lose this talent? or, What if I fail? You will begin to torment yourself with thoughts of how others are judging your actions. You will create goals for yourself instead of listening to inner instructions and guidance for how you are supposed to use your gifts. Soon your gifts will fall under the control of others, as you will fall prey to their judgments of you and lose sight of your trust in God.
* Develop a special appreciation of those who criticize you; do not resent them. They are your allies. Look on them as sacred adversaries in action in your like. They are more helpful than those who praise you because they support your humbleness. They have a true spiritual role in your life. To resent those who criticize you is to forget that you have also criticized others. Remember to use your soul`s ability to illuminate your shadows so that you see clearly through seemingly negative events. Always, beyond the darkness, Gods greater plan is in motion. That is the truth you need to trust It is a truth reached through prayer and the security of humility.
Entry Prayer
I cross the bridge into the silent bliss of my Castle. I close the drawbridge and forbid all outside influences from entry into this holy place that is my soul. Here in my Castle, I am alone with God. Under God`s light and companionship I discover the depth and beauty of my soul. I embrace the power of prayer. I open myself to divine guidance. I surrender myself to become as a channel for grace, healing, and service as God directs my life.
****************************************************
As often happens, copying the above down, has had a greater impact on me than merely reading it. That is why I suggest that any of you who read this blog and are on a spiritual journey yourselves, do likewise. This is just a suggestion, which of course is just as okay to ignore. We all have to follow our own paths, whether or not they coincide with others. You all have a good day my brothers and sisters. A special hello to whoever is seeing my blog in Saudi.
Your brother, Peter

I went over the woods today and got three photos to share. No big surprise!

God loves you and I love you all.

Good day to you my brothers and sisters. My first thought when coming across the tree in photo top left, was to come back with a ladder and carving chisels. I thought it would be good to carve two faces kissing. Today though I thought it best leaving it to nature as someone else may see something totally different in it as it is and so I would be spoiling it for them.
The one to the left, I liked the shape of the branch in the foreground against the background sky. Also the tree leaning in the distance, reminding me that it has been moving and growing over the last thirty or forty years, but we havent been still enough to see it change. What lovely clouds also still only in the picture.
Even if someone lives to be a hundred years old, a great part of that time is spent in the infirmities of childhood and old age. A huge part is consumed by sleep at night and worries by day. Much of it is wasted in sorrow and fear. Only a small fraction remains for enjoying being alive - so dont waste it.

Peace and love to you and all beings, from your brother Peter. (PS pass it on.)
