Be Your Answer - Be Still Know I Am
60 x 40 cm
Acrylic on canvas

These were created initially by randomly putting paint on one canvas and then putting the second blank canvas onto the first. More markings and words were then added using brushes.

God 1st
100 x 30 cm
Mixed media and acrylic on canvas

There are the happy and sad faces of the clown. This also has a small self portrait in between the candlelight and the writing "God 1st". The main thing is that this work is about getting the balance right so we can have some harmony! The colours used have a lot of meaning.

The End Days
55.5 X 45.5 cm
Acrylic on board

Having spent six years in the Philippines I have included the Filipino word for peace among some other languages. It works for me both in the past and present. Whole and also in pieces. Coming back to view it at different times I spot a particular image I hadn't noticed before. If you think that's strange then you have yet to discover one of the more enjoyable aspects of brain injury.

Series of 4 paintings
Each 40 x 40 cm
Acrylic on canvas with bank notes, stamps, etc.

These have quotes from the bible as well as yogic quotes and bank notes, plus the yin/yang sign. These are about realising and celebrating our commonalities. Lifting our empty hands in a sign of peace  and leaving our footprints in time.

The Cross
30 x 40 cm
Acrylic on canvas.

Red (with subtle traces of darker paint underneath) and white. This is very meaningful to me and should inspire me to do better and try to be more like my saviour. Not drifting about like my ego would rather have me. This is a simple painting with heavy meaning. I couldn't even put my name on it. It's totally about Jesus and me.
