Fish on Friday: Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice, for they shall have their fill.

Good day and welcome to this blog, one and all!

This is a photo I shot yesterday eve. Bird tree sky.

Here is the next one. Bear in mind, my blogs are not about how good my
ability as a photographer is. They are mostly just to capture and show what holds
my attention as one moment passes into another.

Here it was as if I was no longer behind the camera, but was the bird flying with grace.
Not a lot of difference! See what is this relative too? A stormy sky?
A whirlwind, where the tree is uprooted and pictured in the sky.
From my point of view there is not much difference. What I am fascinated
with is what your point of view is. If you you look behind you what do you
see. Or go outside. Is there a pavement and road. There is here and at 7am there
are a lot of parked cars outside peoples houses and none moving. Nor people
walking down or up this road!

So my brothers and sisters, this our latest painting.   I just cant come up with the
title. If you know what it is the please let me know at petgkim@gmail.com. Thank
                     you.

I do like this and am thinking, what does it matter anyway, if its incomplete!
Who can judge if it is? I cant,  and  didnt want to paint on it anymore incase
I messed it up. I may come back in a day or two and go around the edge with a
wash. The centre of this work though is as I would wish it if I could have even
envisaged it before it was created.

I am sure you can see the common theme running through this triptych!

                                             Fish on Friday

  I will further down this blog, share with you a bit of writing on Hunger And Thirst After Justice , by Father Gerald Vann, (a great Dominican) whom it was said;
"His writing can be read with profit by Anglicans. His books are easy to understand; he never strays far from the devotional needs of his readers."                                                            Church Times

Due though to the current state of the world and the seperation of large parts of the globe from each other in terms of unequal division of resources, I felt it more appropriate to share what he said about the aforementioned subject.

HUNGER AND THIRST
AFTER JUSTICE

Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice, for they shall have their fill.                                                                                                  MATT, v.6.

Some have held that happiness consists in selfishly following the bent of the passion for wealth or pleasure or power: they are wrong, because these instincts thus isolated and so turned to evil are on the contrary an obstacle to happiness. Others have thought that happiness consists in the "active life" as such, in doing rather than being; and again they are wrong, for activity is either a means to happiness, or else is itself beatific only as an overflow of a state of being. Happiness is not, essentially, something we have but some -thing we are, though we become what we are by doing and by the way we suffer when suffering is given us, which way is itself a form of doing. But the active life is a social life; and so this beatitude and the next tell us how we should act towards the rest of the family, first as far as justice is concerned, and secondly in regard to the qualities of soul that go beyond the bare demands of justice: generosity and mercy.
Being is more important than doing. It is wrong to think that in order to do great things for the human family you must be endlessly occupied with external activity, that you must be able to point to the arresting visible changes in the face of things, the institutions, the buildings, the movements, that owe their origins to you. The saints often have these things to their credit; but they achieve them almost, as it were, in spite of themselves, certainly rather as an inevitable result and expression of what they are than as a studied programme.
There are always some indeed in the world who think themselves great because their brief appearance on the stage is accompanied with much sound and fury: they have much external power, and use it to change, for a time, the face of the earth; but in reality it is they who are as the grass that withers: they go, and the upheavals they caused are at length forgotten, or figure as a tale in the textbooks of history. The power that lives on is the real power, the inner power: the power to move mountains, to tame the animals and bring them back, as St. Francis did, to the human family, the power to charm men to holiness not by what is said merely but by the voice that says it, the personality it expresses. You find a hint or likeness of this power in all the really great: in the men of genius, perhaps, in the great lovers of humanity, in those who are filled with the love of a purpose greater than themselves; but you find it in its fullness in the saints, whose power is more than human since it is the life of the Spirit within them. You find it, above all, in the life of Him from whom the saints` power comes: "and Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee"; "and they wondered at the grace that proceeded from his mouth"; "and they were astonished at his doctrine, for his speech was with power He commandeth the unclean spirits, and they go out?" -as we read in one single chapter of the Gospel (Luke iv). So it was, too, that when the woman sought to be cured of the issue of blood He said "Who hath touched my garments?" for He knew that power had gone out from Him. And it is not only a power to heal the body or to give physical strength goes forth: you look Him in the eyes or hear His voice and you are never the same again, your whole former life is a land to which you can never return. A great Dominican, himself a man in whom there was something of this inner power, once finely said: "When our Lord calls a man a sinner he isn`t one-he used to be."

This is the power that lives on earth long after the one who has it has passed from the earth; for the original influence is handed on to others and to others again, and from generation to generation down the ages of the world.

Blessings of love, peace and humility be upon us all.

Awareness of art, reality and illusion

Good afternoon it is here as I construct this blog for you, my worthy and most loved brothers and sisters.

100% is the most we can get in reality.
Yet we get no where near this.
Our eyes can only take in a narrow spectrum of
   colours.
Our ears can only hear a certain band of
 sound wavelengths.

Well, I am sure you get the picture so to speak.
What is real or unreal. What is normal.

I read a story of a soldier on the battlefield who would simply drop his rifle to the ground, pick up a scrap of paper lying there, and look at it. Then he would let it flutter from his hands to the ground. And then he`d move somewhere else and do the same thing. So others said, "This man is exposing himself to death. He needs help." So they put him in the hospital and got the best psychiatrist to work on him. But it seemed to have no effect. He wandered around the wards picking up scraps of paper, looking at them idly, and letting them flutter to the ground. In the end they said, "We've got to discharge this man from the army." So they call him in and give him a discharge certificate and he idly picks it up, looks at it, and shouts. "This is it! This is it." He finally got it.

He acted in expectation leaving the workings of how it was going to be fulfilled to the universe, or God if you like. I like God and even just the concept of an almighty God!
He was waiting not doing. I am not a human doing. I am a human being who does at times do things. I should rather spend more time being still.
Still things and people will go on doing their own things and I am starting to realize my attachment to no things.  Look around you the next time you are in the market place or town centre. Are most people just being in awareness of a succession of single moments passing; or are they just doing one thing after another or even many at the some time. Perhaps talking on the phone whilst keeping an eye on the children and looking at the market stall for the best deal on vegetables!
I am though now here in the moment thinking of the people who look at my blogs and whom most I dont know personally, but believe that our Father knows intimately. If he wants it any different then He will make it so!  Now I will post my latest art work with both the hope and expectation that it will be liked and for a few it will reach deeper than others and mean more to them than it could to me. I am just the artist, but its you that the universe created it for this day. Blessings love and peace to you.

This is it for the blog today. May the love that suppases all understanding and is greater than our greatest imagining be realised by us now and always. If you dont feel it, its not because its not there!
I hope that you who dont know me personally, believe that I am a real person and what is written is true and not a story constructed by a group of people posting this website on the internet by a fictitious artist of whom they think up sometimes outlandish stories of this imaginary persons life. Giving him a German Shepherd sheep dog and then having it bite a man running in the park and taking it off him again.
There are two people doing the paintings and one photographer. Also two separate individuals - one of whom is human - writing the blogs. Its me, the `real` Peter G Kimble, writing this now. The imaginary Peter is off somewhere worrying about imaginary problem. You can tell which is which, as you will never catch him smiling.
Me, I am grinning now and happy to be typing and not talking. Ta, thanks for being where you are at this moment, reading this.

Its all there is for now and how I wish one or two of you could pop round for a herbal tea, while I listened to you tell me about your story.
Everyone has got a story and they are all valid. Some people dont value there own story as much as they value others.

Sometimes values go up or down.
sir Jimmy Savile
Yep he was unable to be, or couldnt be what most people thought he was, so some got good things fixed for them by the BBC television company and these were broadcast for us all to see and make money for the BBC. Paying the producers and directer general well.
Others got shameful horrible things fixed for them by a human doing self gratifying sexual acts with children entrusted to his care.
The press of course will vilify the main villain, yet he is already dead. I saw him talking to Peter Sutcliffe once whilst I was in Broadmoor and thought they seemed a bit pally. Snug as bugs in rugs.
Hindsight is not a great thing. Foresight of course is in demand, but people will only pay money or attention to the nonsense written in gutter press
horoscrotums  horoscopes! Otherwise the world would be a much better place and that wont sell newspapers.
Okay, got to go now and get something to eat.

Have a good day and pass on the love.
Yours bro Peter

A Wednesday welcome to one and to all.

Peace and love be upon you all.

This is the view of and out of my window this cold autumnal
day. Its days like this that my mind goes back to the
six years I lived in the Philippines and where I never once
said, "How I miss the English autumn and winter weather."
But I am smiling, as I can still enjoy being here, in this moment know I enjoy
creating this blog with love for you and all beings. Especially the First and the greatest. (God)

This is a poster which I wholeheartedly agree with!  What do you think?

One, if not the most misquoted biblical saying, is `Money is the root of all evil`. The actually right quote is, `The love of money is the root of all evil.`!

                              robinhoodtax.org
I expect I am showing my like for what the above organization is doing to people who mostly will be in favour of this. I doubt that many politicians, bankers or others `at the top` look at my blog.
The interesting thing is that the higher people climb up on top of the masses, then the bigger their eventual fall. Why dont they see we are all really one! The bigger their wealth grows, or power grows, then most often the ego grows in tandem. Anyway thats my bit. I wont be like some of the atheist anarchists, who would like to string up the bankers and politicians from lamp posts by their necks. Nope, let us all reap what we sow. Do you know the story of the rich man who asked Jesus how he could enter the kingdom of God? Christ told him to sell all he owned, give the money to the poor and follow him. The man went away sad because he was very rich. I always thought that perhaps this man had started of with money, like some of the wealthiest families in the world. Otherwise he could have thought to himself, `I made this money from nothing, I can easily make more and so it makes sense to give it to the poor and follow this great teacher, Jesus! Look how his disciples seem contented with what little they have and they dont know where tomorrows food is coming from. Yet I have so much wealth, but I am not content that I have enough and always strive to make more.
They smile joyfully and laugh, yet I am worried and stressed. I must get away from these people and surround myself with more wealth, so as to put this out of my mind!   Did he? What do you think?
I believe its our duty to pray for the poor and the rich to share what they have. The poor often - but not always, I grant you - have more hope and faith in God. They will give a greater proportion of what they do have to help others. A beggar may be more willing to share his last piece of bread than a banker would share his last million pounds/dollars/yen/ gold pieces. Money wont make people happy. Look at  that man Judas who sold our master for, was it forty pieces of silver. He later went off and hung himself. I know I am a christian, but thats with a little `c`, because if my God is the creator of all things, then he may let reincarnation happen if thats the best way for certain souls to eventually come to Him. So maybe Judas went on at first to be a worm, then a cockroach. He progressed to become donkey and then a pig. Then once again he reached a human incarnation, but right at the bottom, as a banker!
Many people think that its those with money and power who are at the top in this world. NOPE they only think they are.
Its easier for a slave or a prisoner to sing out in praise of God than it is for those who see themselves at the top. We must not be like them in seeing them at the top. Those with the ability to do much to alleviate the suffering of the poor, but who turn their faces away from those in need, are really at the bottom, but havent realized it yet!
We reap what we sow is a law not only of the universe, but God.
Physics is starting to get it. How awesome is that which we are only now just like children, starting to grasp. The potential of faith and belief! The power of thought belief and word!
Enough now of this. For those of you, my brothers and sisters, who have had the patience to follow me this far, I shall now post my latest painting for you.

The one above is my number three of these!
This above is my number one.

And we have number two - although it was

a close decision and it only lost out after a second recount!

I am off to walk down the town now. Have a good day and know that you are loved. Your bro Peter.

Tuesday 6th Nov 2012 Theres not going to be another day like today. So max it!

Good day to you, my brothers and sisters.

Refer your attention to the title and be as much as possible aware of each moment as it not so much passes, as changes.

Forever Changes was the name of a record album I bought in the 1970`s, by a group called love.
I awoke this morning with the desire to play a track or two on you tube, which I have just done.

 So on to this blog.
First to shall share with you, all of yesterdays art.

This photo is fresh and crisp with gentle movement and a cool flow.

In this photo, I really like the `peace` that is just over half way up on the the far left and looks like heraldic initials. Perhaps it means something to you. For me it is at this moment, `freedom in change.` Oops, and now its changed to `We are all love!`

We have got to keep going forward.
                   All together now.

The lady in white prays as a nymph
dances in ecstasy at her feet.
I created this, yet it is but a dream. YET!

Thats the art, all shared with you now. No more left and none as yet for tomorrow. We have no thought for the morrow, do we? Are we not together here, focused in this moment!
I AM focused on us all now with a loving intention and a feeling of love in harmony with all things and all `not things`. ( Do you get the meaning of `not things`?)
When we say, `the love that passes understanding` we dont mean it cannot be understood at all. This love is all the love we are capable of knowing, but then it transcends our comprehension, passing into deeper realms and dimensions!

We must, my brothers and sisters, continue to realize our duty to be all we can and do all we ought in being authentic and true. Also of course help others, with our thoughts, words and actions.
This is me now signing off for today.
Know that you are loved and are love incarnate.
Pass this on.
Your bro Peter G Kimble.

Monday and just so intouch with this present moment.

Blessings peace and love to you and all beings.

There is a power for good in this universe greater than we are, and we can use it.

It is calling to me. I know that a creative, spiritual endevour is mine now, and as I start to do this now, with the sun shining in through the window, I give thanks.

I am so grateful to be blessed today with having done a painting which I am able to share some photos with you. As well as being able to drive my mother to her old house to pick up her mail and for her to check that it was all secure. And to have spent some time watching a television program with her. I must remember that sometimes its enough for her to have my company and its better for me to bother her mind with my busy thoughts. A good time for practicing stillness of mind!

Here I am reflecting on whats on
offer to be a bonus for many.

Yes I am aware I at times sound excited or aggressive.
I am not. Its just a byproduct of my brain
injury. As is inside, being closer to God!
Yes I know many dont see it. Yet some
of them dont believe in God. So what!

God can go about incognito, or undercover. God can wish this was taken by a more skilled camera man!

This used to be the Odeon cinema that me, my family and many others went to see films.
Also I think two of my sisters saw The Beatles sing here!

Here are my feet walking away from Bury park, Luton to go to the car and end up here with you.

So my brothers and sisters, this is the whole picture of my latest painting of which I am pleased and happy also to be sharing with you. I know that I am a better artist than technical camera operator, but you are able to make allowances for my shortcomings!

This is it for todays painting. For some of you it may be too much and for this I am sorry, but ask your indulgence. I try to get across on a computer screen that which is so much more real here.

I came across a quote I liked and thought would be appropriate to my mood today. Looking up the author I saw some other `peaces` of his which I should like to share with you.

Milan Kundera b 1929 Czechoslovakia.
. What shall we choose? Weight or lightlessness?
. If every second of our lives recurs an infinite number of times, we are nailed to eternity as Jesus Christ was nailed to the cross.
. If eternal return is the heaviest of burdens, then our lives can stand out against it in all their splendid lightness.
. She would have liked to tell them that behind Communism, Fascism, behind all occupations and invasions lurks a more basic, pervasive evil and that the image of that evil was a parade of people marching by with raised fists and shouting identical syllables in unison.
.The history of the Czechs and of Europe is a pair of sketches from the pen of mankind`s fateful inexperience.
.History is as light as an indivijual human life, unbearably light, light as a feather, as dust swirling into the air, as whatever will no longer exist tomorrow.

This last quote if I believe a good one to say good day to you for now, my precious brothers and sisters.
The sun is shining and I am in love with you all.
Your brother Peter.

Saturday 3rd Nov and look who I have around here!

Good day and blessings and love to you all.

See, its my youngest son and not a monster. Hooray!
He will take the mask off and reveal the true being,
who is really, a creative expression of generative love.

Can you imagine if people in general, or trying to be Generals, were just thought of and given no more credence than children playing pretend. Then we could say if it was a good game, or not and we would play along, or decide not to play!
So for me it would be, yes to following, or pretending to be and acting like; Jesus, buddha, Birhand Raghavji Gandhi (Mahatma Gandhi is a different Gandhi, but if you want to pretend you are Mahatma, thats fine too.) and many saints.
No, to joining in with those who wanted to be like, Hitler, or stalin, or anyone who wants to control the masses for the erection of a state of evil. Boo lets not play along and just turn our backs on those silly children. If no one takes any notice of them, will they go away?
I am not sure that they will, but what do you think?

Here are some photos of the painting done yesterday. I like the original paintings better than these photos! But what can I do, apart from magically transporting you here to see them in `reality` (chuckle, what's reality.)

Okay, the following is from me to you, although originally written by those I have credited. (as I have said before though, we are all really one!)

Earth, moon stars and sun revolve inside me.
                            Baba Muktananda

God sleeps in the rock. Dreams in the plant. Stirs in the animal And awakens in man
             Ben Al-Arabi 12 century spanish

Finally to round up todays blog, I am sharing with you some writing which I came across only this morning, by Virehand Raghavji Gandhi and which is having great impact on my consciousness!

"All non liberated souls when pass from one life to another it carries with itself the karmic body which is invisible and subtle. This karmic body depends on the karma energies it carries, exhibits.
It first attracts the material particles to form a physical body. The senses, speech and mind are formed according to the ability of the soul bonded by karmic connections. It may be one sense organism to five sense organism with mind or without mind. Even one can be born as hellish beings or celestial beings. Mind includes desires, emotions; intelligence, thinking etc. According to Jainism the soul in pure form has infiniteness in terms of its knowledge and power. These faculties are obstructed for its exhibition due to karmic bondage."
              -Virehand Raghavji Gandhi

"As you go on forgetting yourself materially, just in the same proportion do spiritual peace and spiritual powers flow in towards you."
                         Virchand Gandhi (1864-1901)

"The heart of vegetarians is healed sooner than those of flesh-eaters".

So my brothers and sisters, I have been a vegetarian before and I will be a vegetarian again. The most important thing at this moment is that `I` will forget my self materially and concentrate awareness on spiritual presence!
Peace and love to you an all beings.
Your bro Peter.
(As always, I hope and trust in my heart that you will pass on this love.)
