Just my painting on this blog

Enough from me 4  2day.
I pray we all receive much from God and can have Him work through us. Blessings love and peace to you and all beings. Pass this on.  Your bro Peter.

All from one painting one artist one ....

Good day to you, my brothers and sisters.

DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND MY CONTROL I AM MASTER OF MY FATE AND CAPTAIN OF MY SOUL. FULL STEAM AHEAD. AHOY THERE, MAKE ROOM FOR LOVE.

Above a saint, a Buddha a you or me, rests and dreams of joyful creation.
Below as above. It all goes on and it never stops. Yet we can pause to get our bearings and laugh as this galaxy whizz`s through space at such a rate of knots. Time though does not get tangled, nor untangled. Its best to leave it to itself. If we believe that all we see is not all there is, then we can as I have just done, take a little waltz around the room with an unseen angel in my arms. There, I just went and had a little slow dance with my arms around it. It`s imagined not real, as all we conceive of as real will not last. Just love in emotion.
                                            all we need is love
Above and below are such different pictures from the same painting.
How many different sort of characters do we portray during just one lifetime! I look above with reverence.

Do you like the texture that is often in my paintings? I am off now to empty this vessel of all that is not from, of and to God. For as an apostle once said and is now here repeated by me; `I no longer live, yet not I but Christ lives in me. Yes, I don't always get the punctuation perfect, yet God realises this and has given me this material body to use and learn in, before I am clothed in a perfect immortal body of Christ. We are all one body and must not get too confused by seeing all these little fallible bodies we inhabit as seperating us from each other and God. We are ONE!
Blessings love and peace to you and all beings. Your bro Peter

Latest news is that I am new to facebook and so dont expect too much there from me!

YES I AM ON FACEBOOK AND WANT LOTS OF YOU FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES TO BE MY FRIENDS. Bless you.

There is a mist over the town and the woods behing this humble abode, but I am not going out in the cold with the camera. Sorry, but staying here in the semi warm is too attractive a propasition proper situation.

So, yes as is stated on the title of the blog I am new to facebook.
Already I have signed up against people hunting and eating bears and wolves.

Look up if you are in agreement with taking down the pages on Wolf Butchering , cooking and recipes. I do take the point that someone said about facebook not being about censorship, but lets get real. Do we want to promote pages extolling the virtue of sending little girls to `holiday` in a country where they can according to `religious` practise, have the benefit of female circumcision? NO.

                          NUFF SAID SO FOR NOW.
                           LETS LOOK AT MY ART.

So much art gets done. So little housework!

CAN THIS BE RECTIFIED? UMBOT>maybe!!!

Have a great day and know that you are loved and pass this on. bro Peter.

As a member of Avaaz I thought I would share this with you.

INSPIRATION

Life’s most valuable lesson, in one mayonnaise jar

by Avaaz Team - posted 30 September 2012 06:02

Below is a story we just had to share. It has been making the rounds on the internet since at least 2004, but the message is timeless.
The mayonnaise jar and two cups of coffee
When things in your lives seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the two cups of coffee.
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes."
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognise that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things – your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favourite passions – and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
"The pebbles are the other things that matter, like your job, your house and your car."
"The sand is everything else – the small stuff. If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first – the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."
One of the students raised her hand and enquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked.
"It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."
    ***********************************************************************************************************************************
And hey folks, as my late wife Tracy used to say, " Smile and you turn a frown upside down." Well she didn't use those words in that exact order, but that's okay as I have an artistic licence, which is such a wonderful instrumental excuse for imagination to run riotous over monotony and boredom.

Paintings to be framed and given to my eldest sister.

Good day to you all. When I told my sister yesterday that the two painting I did this day were my best so far, which pleased me as an expression of the creative force within showing without, then she said those are the ones she will accept from me. So for so long, I have been wanting her to have this painting, or that and she has said
she will wait for the right one. So then yesterday when I hold her the two painted together were the ones, she said yes without having seen them! So my other brothers and sisters, you can see here in a limited way what the actual paintings stirred in me. Plus some  quotes by Walt Whitman and others (yeah, me included.) , some of which the jury of my conciousness is still out contemplating for a yay or nay.

I do not ask the wounded person how he feels, I myself become the wounded person.
I and this mystery, here we stand.
Matter derives from Mind, not Mind from Matter. Tibetan Book of Great Liberation.
I wear my hat as I please, indoors or out.
The spiritual world is not part of our world. We are part of the Spiritual world.
I discover myself on the verge of the usual mistake, draw back and take a breath.
Everything comes from the source and dances awhile before returning.
You and me are just like diamonds sitting still in a lump of coal.
Come on universe, bring on the pressure which lets us sparkle with light!

Evolution implies that creation is not complete.  We still have some way to go.  Seekers of the way and the light, together as one body.

The spiritual world is not part of our world. We are part of the spiritual world.

Go in peace and love and spread the word. THE WORD IS LOVE IN ACTION.

YOUR BROTHER PETER G KIMBLE.

Sunday and its cold outside. Painting by me occompanied by quotes from Meister Eckhart.

Good day to you my brothers and sisters.
It so cold in here and outside, where I have been just two minutes ago to take shots of my latest painting, to share with you here.  With as mentioned in the title, some quotes by Meister Eckhart (Not to be confused with Eckhart Tolle)

God is at home, its we who have gone for a walk.
He who would be serene and pure needs but one thing, detachment.
If the only prayer you ever say in your life is thank you, it will be enough.
One person who has mastered life is better than a thousand persons who have mastered only the contents of books, but no one can get anything out of life without God. ( I like this one. I can look at it as not only in respect to what we have in this life, but `out` of life, ie after this life, or even outside material life, now!
A just person is one who is conformed and transformed into justice.
All God wants of man is a peaceful heart.
Every creature is a word of God.
Here below is the big picture (Well actually only A4 size) that the above shots are from.......
God expects but one thing of you, and that is that you should come out of yourself in so far as you are a created being made and let God be God in you.

Have a good day my brothers and sisters. Know that you are loved and pass this on.  Your bro Peter.

Saturday 23 February 2013

Saturday and welcome, as I start to construct this at 4.30am.

My brothers and sisters, I am here this early as to take advantage of the quiet that these early hours allow in stillness, to collect ones thoughts. Hmm, and once they are collected, they can be set aside as one contemplates the nothingness, or just watches the breath!
                          This is the whole
                           picture below.
Now for the parts which drew both  my attention and camera. As always please appreciate my unproffesional photografic ability, which fails to convay the wonder I see when looking at the real work!

This is my favourite of the small pictures within the complete work.

It reminds me that there has been so much in my life which I can give thanks and if it was to end  now    well,
it didnt, but if it did I would be satisfied. So everyday is a wonderful bonus. My love goes out to you my brothers and sisters and to all beings. Know that you are loved. Please pass the love on and my blog..
My thanks for visiting this site and my hope for you to be a blessing to all you encounter this weekend.

Peter.

ps. for my spiritual growth both yesterday and from 4.30 am today I have been copying Meister Eckharts Sermons from www.ccel.org/ccel/ eckhart/sermons.iv.html
I tell you this as I believe as did monks in days gone past, that the copying out sacred texts in longhand will reach our being at a deeper conscious level than just reading them! So it is up to you if you wish to do the same with your time. We have eternity I know, but I have so much miss spent time I now have to savour and use even moments of relaxation to the fullest. Bless you all.
