Good day my wonderful brothers and sisters of light, love and peace. Welcome to all others also.

Here below is some art from me with some words from the late - yet in a way (The Way, The Truth and The Life.) ever present - David R. Hawkins, M.D, Ph.D

Each step along the way to enlightenment is exciting and rewarding when its essence is revealed. Taken out of context, any critical insight can seem baffling, yet intriguing. For each seeker, there are important key understandings that light the way and facilitate success. This is a collection of such truths that serve as fulcrums for major leaps forward. Although there are many doorways to heaven, each seeker must find his or her own route.

1. To become more conscious is the greatest gift anyone can give to the world; moreover, in a ripple effect, the gift comes back to its source.

2. Spiritual development is not an accomplishment but a way of life. It is an orientation that brings its own rewards, and what is important is the direction of one’s motives.

3. What can you actually do to be helpful to the world? Make a gift of your life and lift all mankind by being kind, considerate, forgiving, and compassionate at all times, in all places, and under all conditions, with everyone as well as yourself. That is the greatest gift anyone can give.

4.  Out of all-inclusive, unconditional compassion comes the healing of all mankind.

5.  In a universe where “like goes to like” and “birds of a feather fly together,” we attract to us that which we emanate.

6. Every act or decision we make that supports life supports all life, including our own. The ripples we create return to us.

7. One basic principle has the power to resolve the problems of the social marketplace: Support the solution instead of attacking the supposed causes.

8. In truth, we exist and survive, not because of the ego, but in spite of it.

9. To best serve the world, seek enlightenment and transcend illusions rather than contribute to them.

 10. To transcend the world requires compassion and acceptance, the result of inner humility, by which the world is surrendered to God with increased peace of mind.

11. What the ego cannot lift with all its might is like a feather to the grace of God.

 12. To win in life means to give up the obsession of “who’s at fault.” Graciousness is far more powerful than belligerence. It is better to succeed than to win.

13. By its nature, the pathway to God is not easy. It requires considerable courage, fortitude, willingness, and forbearance. It is strengthened by humility and a benign conscience.

 14. An extremely valuable insight that is learned by all spiritually evolved persons in the course of their development is seeing one’s own personal consciousness as the decisive influence that determines all that occurs in one’s life.

 15. Holding a goal in mind is inspirational and actually helpful to its accomplishment, because what is held in mind tends to actualize. However, it is a mistake to attack oneself with guilt for failing to achieve the ideal. Upon examination, it will be frequently discovered that it was not really the goal that was desired, but the satisfaction that was associated with it.

 16. It’s pleasing to discover that it isn’t necessary to drive oneself forward; instead, one can simply allow oneself to move forward as blocks are removed. Thus, one becomes attracted by the future rather than propelled by the past.

Please my brothers and sisters, pass this on and think good thoughts, or pray if like me you are a spiritual beings and doings, for my young son, Harry Kimble to win the battle against leukemia.
My love to you and all you encounter, today and always, your brother Peter.

Heres some photos I shot when I took my teenage sons Duxford air field, part of the Imperial War Museums/

Good day brothers and sisters. I am not interested in fighting and war, but when I have to I can look for the artistic through my camera lens and so here for you all the shots I took, none in hostility.

Often I take my reflection on surfaces. Here below I took an unrecognizable shot of someone  not myself.

                                                            Can you spot the difference?

Good day my brothers and sisters.

This is just a short blog to say I love you and need your prayers for my family, especially Harry to win his battle against leukemia.

There is a picture hidden on the windowsill above, of Harry taken maybe seven years ago and I put this in for those of you who will be taking a minute to focus on my youngest son who needs prayers to recover from leukemia and be a blessing to all who encounter him. Please pass this on with my love for you and all creation. Your brother of Christ and all the saints, Peter.

Oh yeah and as i sometimes put this in but havent up to now got a reply - though to stop would perhaps say I have given up, or am not worth it - if there is a special lady who gets to see this and feels she may want to contact me, then petgkimb@gmail is where you come..ttfn

One form of the ascetic Christian life is called foolishness for the sake of Christ. The fool-for-Christ set for himself the task of battling within himself the root of all sin, pride. In order to accomplish this he took on an unusual style of life, appearing as someone bereft of his mental faculties, thus bringing upon himself the ridicule of others. In addition he exposed the evil in the world through metaphorical and symbolic words and actions. He took this ascetic endeavor upon himself in order to humble himself and to also more effectively influence others, since most people respond to the usual ordinary sermon with indifference. The spiritual feat of foolishness for Christ was especially widespread in Russia.

Hey though my brothers and sisters, before you read about some righteous fools for Christ, here is some art from the unworthy foolish artist for Christ, yours truly.

                                   First something from Maisy dog.
Is it only in English, mans best friend, dog
backwards is God? Ay up lads and lassies,
be nice or get growled at.

Here are my latest works for you. Painted on A4 and A5 paper.  Abstract not to detract from the
tangible, but to give our minds over to the intangible where our hearts find their rightful home.

You will do foolish things, but do them with enthusiasm.

In wars, boy, fools kill other fools for foolish causes.
Fools in their desire for equality desire this right for girls.

Wisdom cannot be imparted. Wisdom that a wise man attempts to impart always sounds like foolishness to someone else ... Knowledge can be communicated, but not wisdom. One can find it, live it, do wonders through it, but one cannot communicate and teach it.

Until you're ready to look foolish, you'll never have the possibility of being great.

To be obscure is not necessarily to be irrelevant.

The first cut may be the deepest, but the following three are close behind.

Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain--and most do.
If I ask you about my work, try to feel before thinking!
Still I havent asked you yet! Enjoy or dont is a great
freedom and it really is your choice.

The attitude of gratitude is a wonderful thing to foster and promote.

Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish.

Don't look for obscure formulas or mystery in my work. It is pure joy that I offer you. Look at my paintings until you see them. Those closest to God have seen them.

Isidora, Fool-for-Christ

May 10 is the Commemoration of Saint Isidora, Fool-for-Christ.

                     isidora

“Saint Isidora, Fool-for-Christ, struggled in the Tabenna monastery in Egypt during the sixth century. Taking upon herself the feat of folly, she acted like one insane, and did not eat food with the other sisters of the monastery. Many of them regarded her with contempt, but Isidora bore all this with great patience and meekness, blessing God for everything.
She worked in the kitchen and fulfilled the dirtiest, most difficult tasks at the monastery, cleaning the monastery of every impurity. Isidora covered her head with a plain rag, and instead of cooked food she drank the dirty wash water from the pots and dishes. She never became angry, never insulted anyone with a word, never grumbled against God or the sisters, and was given to silence.
Once, a desert monk, St Pitirim, had a vision. An angel of God appeared to him and said, “Go to the Tabenna monastery. There you will see a sister wearing a rag on her head. She serves them all with love, and endures their contempt without complaint. Her heart and her thoughts rest always with God. You, on the other hand, sit in solitude, but your thoughts flit about all over the world.”

The Elder set out for the Tabenna monastery, but he did not see the one indicated to him in the vision among the sisters. Then they led Isidora to him, considering her a demoniac. Isidora fell down at the knees of the Elder, asking his blessing. St Pitirim bowed down to the ground to her and said, “Bless me first, venerable Mother!”
To the astonished questions of the sisters the Elder replied, “Before God, Isidora is higher than all of us!” Then the sisters began to repent, confessing their mistreatment of Isidora, and they asked her forgiveness. The saint, however, distressed over her fame, secretly hid herself away from the monastery, and her ultimate fate remained unknown. It is believed that she died around the year 365.”
