Ickwell through my camera and wanderings.

Good day my beloved brothers and sisters. Here are some pictures of a mooch with the pooch and sister Viv, to a small village in Bedfordshire UK called Ickwell. Accompanied by some sayings for our contemplation.

After a long walk around a picturesque
Bedfordshire, Maisy the pooch enjoys a nap.

To reach satisfaction in all
desire its possession in nothing.
To come to possess all
desire the possession of nothing.
to arrive at being all
desire to be nothing.
To come to the knowledge of all
desire the knowledge of nothing.
—- St. John of the Cross

The day of my spiritual awakening was the day I saw–and knew I saw–all things in God, and God in all things.
— Mechtild of Magdeburg

Nothing in all creation is so like God as stillness.
                                           — Meister Eckhart

These are buildings nice in appearance, but they
are in truth not really homes, but can be thought
of as temporary residences. I say this for those of
of us who understand that the real `I` dwells in the
home where the heart is. This also is a temporary
body which we acquired upon emerging from a
womb. Our true home is not in this ever changing
universe, but lets my brothers and sisters make the
the most of this whilst we are here!

This shadow, as this blog was made
by yours truly. May this be a good
                                                     day for all sentient beings.

This car had been racing at Snetterton a few days
earlier and, thanks to the owner for letting me look
                                          and take pictures.

Here above you can see the car lamp
which below we see a distorted reflection of my face.

The labyrinth gets more complete each day!

 To reach satisfaction in all
desire its possession in nothing.
To come to possess all
desire the possession of nothing.
to arrive at being all
desire to be nothing.
To come to the knowledge of all
desire the knowledge of nothing.
—- St. John of the Cross
Everything praises God. Darkness, privations, defects, evil too praise God and bless God.
— Meister Eckhert

Have a good day my beloved brothers and sisters and please pass this on. Your brother in Christ and all the saints esp Lao Tzu, Peter G Kimble.
