My latest art plus thoughts on unconditional love.

Good day, blessings and love to you all.

First I should like to share some pictures of the painting, with you my brothers and sisters. This was brought into being by me yesterday, by the grace of God.

                 Below are some of the
                 views which appealed to me.

 Conditional, or unconditional love!

To have unconditional love for ourselves and others is not natural.
I know this is something which we dont want to entertain, but the truth can hurt. Only then upon allowing the acknowledgement of this hurt, can we let the healing begin.
Conditioning, as far as our existence in this present life is concerned, starts at our arrival. First we gasp in response to being wrenched from a warm comfortable, protected womb. Taking in air for the first time, we will usual cry out and get these lungs started for a lifetime of breathing in the air. Crying out noisily and soon having a giggle. Smiles come naturally as do upset expressions.
Our conditioning continues with the automatic programmed response of searching for sustenance in the form of a nipple, from which to suck the comforting milk from our mother. Thus starts our behavior and then subconscious and conscious thinking with which to adjust our behavior in this world.
For some of us who reach a certain state of awareness, which is beyond the natural world conditioning, we will wish to transcend the normal state of conditioning. Then we will begin to love unconditionally. We will not prefer to love family, friends and those who we have good relationships with. We will love those who are strangers. We will have love for those who would steal from us, or even take our very lives.
When I, as I do today, say, "I am in this world, but not of it." This means material things are of no importance to me, other than I acknowledge my present material aspect and that this aspect of `I AM` resides momentarily in the here and now.
Fasting is a way to both focus ones conscious being on the spiritual journey and to condition the material body to submit to a higher will. Fasting doesn't have to be the total abstinence of food; although this is a good discipline. It can be the decision to abstain from all which is a pleasure for you to eat and drink. Stimulants, such as caffeine, in tea coffee and some fizzy drinks. Meat and dairy products. Alcohol, thats a big one for causing all sorts of harm. Just visit an A&E department at the weekend an ask if they have had much work as a direct and indirect of peoples alcohol consumption. Same goes for the nearest police station.
Prohibition is not the solution. Proactive decision is. If we want to just be in and of this world, then carry on as the masses or herd does. Be influenced by the adverts, television, magazines, newspapers and politicians and yes, the religious leaders too. Consume and be consumed in the material world. How many people would not from one year to the next go in a holy temple of any religious or spiritual discipline and one the same hand would it impossible to voluntarily go without watching television for a month.
I do have the computer at this moment in time and yes I do occasionally watch stuff on the internet. Especially as my sons, who are twelve and thirteen have enjoyed me being with them as they watch whole series, like, `Friends` and `Third Rock From The Sun.
I also use the computer to listen to occasional programs on BBC radio 4.
This though is not a need or habit, its a choice to occasionally indulge in.

One solution to life's troubles is to laugh.

Jesus wept, but he was more often found smiling.
Look at all the images of the Buddha. All I have seen, he is either smiling, or looks serene!

So my brothers and sisters, lets all work at being happy saints.

Here is a bit more of my artwork which it is a joy and a pleasure to be able to share with you!

I cannot tell if what the world
considers "happiness" is
happiness or not. All I know
is that when I consider the
way they go about attaining it,
I see them carried away
headlong, grim, and obsessive,
in the general onrush of the
human herd, unable to stop
themselves or to change their
direction. All the while they
claim to be just on the point of
attaining happiness. My opinion
is that you never find happiness
until you stop looking for it.
                                                  Chuang Tzu

Not a happy painting, I know, but it is what it is.
It wasnt happy time for Mary to see Christ on the
cross, but it was what it was and it had to be.

Jesus said, `Be still and know I AM.`
I say, `I no longer live, yet Christ lives in me.`
How can me or you say that Christ consciousness, Krisha consciousness and Buddha consciousness are not all the same thing.
I believe that just as Jesus said `there are many rooms in my fathers house.` There are many roads to enlightenment. Also so many signs, some true and some false. So we must be led, or miss-led. We can lead or follow. We can as I am at present, just be still and become grounded in truth and love.

Peace and love to you all. Pass this love on, in thoughts, words and deeds. Especially when unobserved.  Your bro Peter G Kimble

Fish on Friday: FREE PUSSY RIOT

CHRISTIANS PRAY TO FREE PUSSY RIOT
 NOW

Good day my brothers and sisters.

Burmese opposition leader Aug San Suu Kyi, Madonna and now me, Peter Kimble are calling on Moscow for the release of members of the feminist punk group Pussy Riot.

I will write a letter to
 Russian embassy
6/7 Kensington Palace Gardens
London W8 4QX

I know that my disability limits my organizational skills, so I shall have to be content with praying for all who are unjustly held against their will, be it in prison, in marriage, or held in some other form of bondage for instance, slave wages, or unemployment!.

Its the job of artists and all with a love for truth and justice to challenge that which the corrupt few can have control of with unjustified power.
We owe it to those with power to let them know that they cannot handle it and that it is corrupting them. They can be free from their bondage to ego driven power and, or wealth!

You must believe me that there are people falsely telling the world that they believe in Jesus Christ and follow Him. Yet they have mega churches and mega wealth and do nothing to feed the hungry, or cloth the naked. (The clothing the naked isnt always easy, as I found out when I arrived on Brighton nudist beach laden with dressing gowns.) Imposters in their fine robes being driven around in their limousines. I hear that the pope even has a bullet proof car! How is that for trusting in Gods power. He doesn't want to become martyred, like so many saints! I am sorry if I am being disingenuous, but I am incensed when people say that they are walking in the light, but are really impostors.  Like the politicians here in England not long back, going on at benefit scroungers and fiddlers, whilst some of them were making vast fraudulent expense claims.
I shall leave all that now for God to Judge and get on with the art `Peace` of this blog.

This triptych below and the other painting which I did in conjunction yesterday I am calling; `Set the captives free.`

Above we have three in one. You should be able to see similarities and differences!

Above is a photo of one of the three in one

Below is part of the origin of the above three.

                                                                              Guard me
The following anonymous Irish prayer seeks the help of Christ in resisting the everyday temptations that can lead us astray from truly living and working as faithful Christians.

Guard for me my eyes, Jesus Son of Mary, lest seeing
     another`s wealth make me covetous.
Guard me my ears, lest they hearken to slander, lest they
listen to constantly to folly in the sinful world.
Guard for me my heart, O Christ, in thy love, lest I ponder
wretchedly the desire of any iniquity.
Guard for me my hands, that they be not stretched out for
quarrelling, that they may not, after that, practice
      shameful supplication.
Guard for me my feet upon the gentle earth, lest,
bent on profitless errands, they abandon rest.
   Amen.

Happy and peaceful
John Duns Scotus was a thirteenth-century Franciscan theologian and philosopher. He was known as `Doctor Subtilis` because of his subtle merging of differing views. However, philosophers in the sixteenth century were not so complementary about his work, and accused him of sophistry. This led to his name, `dunce` (which developed from the name `Dunse` given to his sixteenth century followers), which became synonymous with `someone incapable of scholarship`. This also led to the use of the `dunce`s cap` to punish pupils who behaved badly in class.

It is impossible that a nature should be perfectly happy and perfectly at peace unless it be wholly at peace and not only in part. Therefore the will cannot be at peace without the intellect, nor conversely, for each is a power of the one undivided nature. Consequently, beatitude consists in the perfection of both powers.
                                                        John Duns Scotus (c. 12-1308)
I will have to read more on this, as not only do I find it intriguing. I do wonder if I am in fact a `New Dunse`!

I must leave you now my brothers and sisters, as my mother is waiting for me to drive down to her house and have a coffee. I shall get her one of the cakes she likes on the way.

Yogic quote for today
The path is the destination.

You all fare well today. Know that you are loved and I am grateful that you look at my blog. I am hoping its not going to be too long before I can have my galleries updated. My eldest sister is going to arrange for the chap to do this and she is very busy having to earn a living and so I am grateful to her also for all she does for both me and my wonderful sons, Joshua and Harry.

Your brother of Jesus Christ, the Buddha and all the saints,
Peter (4love&truth) G Kimble.

Thursday: my art and Gods best gift.

Good day. Peace and love to you all. Pass it on.

                   It is not a secret!!!

Although here is a photo I have just taken called `Veiled prayers`

That`s a Tibetan prayer flag covering my nose & mouth.

Here is some of my art. Still wet!

This also painted yesterday, is dry. Just about.

Here is the painting I created yesterday.

I like the different textures of the paint and the blend of colours.

                                                                God`s best gift

Abraham Lincoln was the sixteenth President of the United States of America. He begun his political career in his early twenties and was the first American president to be assassinated. He was not a member of any particular church but did attend Christian services and this quote indicates  that a Christian upbringing had influenced him.

I believe that the Bible is the best gift that God ever gave to man. All the good from the Saviour of the world is communicated to us through this book. I have been driven many times to my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go.
                                                        Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865)

God`s church will never perish
Oscar Romero was archbishop of San Salvador in El Salvador, South America. He advocated a non-violent form of liberation theology and was assassinated while celebrating Mass. his death prompted an international outcry and calls for reform in El Salvador. He is one o the ten twentieth century martyrs who are depicted in statues above the Great West Door of Westminster Abbey, London.   (Does anyone know of other Christian countries which commemorate him? Maybe El Salvador!)

Martyrdom is a grace of God that I do not believe I deserve.
But if God accepts the sacrifice of my life,
Let my blood be a seed of freedom and the sign that hope will
  soon be reality.
Let my death, if it is accepted by God,
Be for my people`s freedom and a witness of hope.

You may say, if they succeed in killing me,
That I pardon and bless those who do it.
Would, indeed, they might be convinced not to waste their time
A bishop will die, God`s church, which is the people, will never
  perish
                                                          Oscar Romero (1917 - 1980)

I am now going to go and look in the mirror at one eye, for three to five minutes, with the thought, `Love` going over in my consciousness!
That done and hopefully as the days go by, I shall as I look out in the world, think, (and feel!) `Love`.
Its got to be worth a shot. For sure it will be a better shot than the one taken at Abraham Lincoln.

Let us go about this day with love in our hearts and peace in our minds. We are the change this world deserves. Your bro Peter G Kimble

People all over the world are ONLY images of God.

first on the left is the art painted yesterday.

Greetings to you all. My apologies for not doing so till now.

Underneath is a photo I took which interested me.   Images of God!
God, we are having a laugh with ourselves at times and dont always know it!

Above is from America! Or is it?

Now for more shots of my painting. Or now, our painting....

This is the first painting I painted yesterday, in the leather bound book I made whilst an inmate at Broadmoor        Special Hospital, circa 1979 - 1985. One could say that this time was of enlightenment and self improvement.

This photo above is my joint favourite of today, with the one2 photos up of a different shot of same `peace`. It has an ethereal quality about it.

This photo below is of Inca, a German Shepherd, retriever cross, who lives in the house on the corner at the bottom of `my` road.

                                                                       DOG
Mans best friend after, of course Jesus Christ!

                                                                                            The God of Christians

Blaise Pascal was a brilliant mathematician who devoted the last eight years of his shout life to philosophy and theology. His most famous work, Pensees (thoughts), was published after his death, in 1670.

The God of Christians is not a God who is simply the author of mathematical truths, or of the order of the elements; that is the view of heathen and Epicureans. He is not merely a God who exercises providence over the life and fortunes of men, to bestow on those who worship him a long and happy life ... The God of Christians if a God of love and of comfort, a God who fills the soul and heart of those whom he possesses, a God who makes them conscious of their inward wretchedness, and his infinite mercy, who unites himself to their inmost soul, who fills it with humility and joy, whith confidence and love, who renders them incapable of any other end than himself.
                                        Blaise Pascal (1623-1662)

Go in love and peace my brothers and sisters with the confidence that you are so loved.
Your brother Peter.

Tuesday and I AM going into Luton Town. And they said nothing good comes from Nazerath!

Greetings to you all.

Im back and here are the photos I took. After that is, my latest painting. Plus walking into town and back.

I
I took this, as I noticed someone else taking the same shot. Must be a hat thing! From 1819!

Heres the painting I produced yesterday.

!

Okay, lets get back to Luton town centre.

                                                   Hang on; first this

                                             WWW. Luton
Who knows this young couple, are they meeting?

                                       No doubt this was destined.
Am I the only one to speculate what she is thinking?
I hope that he is okay me having another baby girl!

Well, we are all going different ways, but we are all out shopping.

One pulling a bag behind. Another pushing it.

I am pictured in the one of the shots below, which
I asked someone to take! I did take the others!

Yep its this last one.

Oh yes, I should have explained The title. A bit cryptic! It was reference to the old saying, that nothing good came from Nazareth, yet many of us believe that the ultimate good, Jesus came from there. Now then, I am not saying I am anything but a reformed sinner, but I was born here in Luton and Luton has had a bad reputation in recent years because of riots, which have been periodic since the world war.

Have a good day my brothers and sisters and know that you are loved, so much.  Your brother Peter.

Food for all Art for all

Good day to you all.

Food for all
The first Christian Aid week was held in 1957, (the year of my birth) organized by a body set up in the aftermath of the Second World War and originally called Christian Reconstruction in Europe. Their purpose was to alleviate suffering for ordinary people, no matter what their faith and they had already begun to look beyond Europe, to support development work in newly independent nations in Africa and Asia, and to respond to emergencies worldwide. In 1964 the organization changed its name to Christian Aid. Their current strapline is `We believe in life before death`. (This, `we believe in life before death` is making my eyes leak. How much I should like to go back to living in the Philippines and provide a loving home for some of the street children. Its not my will which I must follow though, but Gods. At this time he wants me to be in England to help care for my mother in her eighties and my sons in their teens! )

Life before death
I would like to ponder that a little. Yes we should pray for those in need and those in bondage. Yet words are not they like seed that is scattered, but not watered and tended. It soon comes to nothing and dies. The shops are not open yet, but I intend to visit the oxfam shop. I will put some money in the collection no matter if there is anything to buy or not. I could buy something as a gift!

An artists blog needs art
So my brothers and sisters, here are some photos I took this morning of the painting done yesterday. I am not a good enough photographer to do justice to this work, but its the best I could do!

This photo in the top half shows you some of the texture which I like.

 As does this one above.

The last one I include using the mirror effect on my camera. A) I like the result. B) It shows details and colour of this painting off well!

There you have it my brothers and sisters. My art for you all. I am off to donate a bit of food for all now. Love, peace and blessings to you. Your bro Peter G Kimble

Sunday 14th October Sharing my art with you.

Good day and now at nearly 5pm GMT I am going to share photos of my art some of which is still wet and was only just finished and some painted early in the morning. I awoke around 5am with the urge to paint and so got up, painted and went back to bed!

update;     I can tell you that the painting above has been changed a little.
especially this corner above, but also other bits.
Look out tomorrow,                                                                               The is all for today. My eldest son wants to practice his goal keeper skills and his good old dad is going to shoot some balls past him or not. We shall see.  Bye for now. Brother Peter.
