Fish on Friday.

Good day to you all my beloved brothers and sisters.  Here are some shots of my art with words from others that I am meditating on today, as you may also wish to do.

“The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God's eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love.”
― Meister EckhartSermons of Meister Eckhart

Using words from the Holy Bible I can say, `I no longer live, yet not I but Christ lives in me.`  Or as you can see under the photo of my painting below, I reveal in more detail which expands on this to those of us of a mystical nature.

Galatians 2:19-21 - Bible

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Galatians+2%3A19...
For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in. ... but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in ... 21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.

Time . . . can be used either destructively or constructively. More and more I feel that the people of ill will have used time much more effectively than have people of good will. we must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time always ripe to do right. . . . Now is the time to lift our national policy from the quicksand of racial injustice to the solid rock of human dignity.’

— Kabir (6.32)
You cannot devalue the body and value the soul
or value anything else.
The isolation of the body sets it into direct conflict with everything else in Creation.
Nothing could be more absurd than to despise the body and yet yearn for its resurrection.
— Wendell Berry
The earth does not belong to the people; the people belong to the earth. . . this earth is precious to the Creator and to harm the earth is to heap contempt upon its Creator. . . . Our dead never forget this beautiful earth, for it is the mother of the red people. We are part of the earth and it is part of us.

A spirituality that preaches resignation under official brutalities . . . and total submission to organized injustice is one that has lost interest in holiness and remains concerned only with a spurious notion of ‘order.’

desire its possession in nothing.
To come to possess all
desire the possession of nothing.
to arrive at being all
desire to be nothing.
To come to the knowledge of all
desire the knowledge of nothing.
—- St. John of the Cross

Some of you may recall the famous saying, `I think therefor I am.` by   René Descartes  Yet I say to you, or write to be more exact; we are Human Beings. Not human thinkings or human doings. So when it says also in the Holy Bible, `Be still and know that I Am God` that is the answer to so much that is wrong in these present times.

Have a blessed weekend my beloved brothers and sisters. Know that you are loved and please pass this on.
Your brother in Christ, Peter G Kimble
