Good day to you my wonderful brothers and sisters. Blessings peace and love from God to you all. Here are lower down in this blog are  some pictures of my art for you to take as you will. I of course hope that you like my work and share it with others, as spreading creative images, words etc is of course a major way to counter those who spread hate and war..

First I will share the winner of yesterdays question, its our wonderful sister Viv.

You asked in yesterday's blog  what the possible blue in the hand  of the possible man was so my answers are:

  • A piece of turquoise mined from the earth of New Mexico for a mystical traveller to trade  for something as yet unknown and exceptional
  • A piece of blue sky to sell to a business man who needs to think
  • Enough blue sky to patch a Dutchman's trousers
  • A painted piece of paper of an uplifting hue to be shared in a blog

Can I now claim the prize please! bfn and make it all happen! Viv

Saint Catherine of Alexandria, also known as Saint Catherine of the Wheel and The Great Martyr Saint Catherine (Greek: ἡ Ἁγία Αἰκατερίνα ἡ Μεγαλομάρτυς) is, according to tradition, a Christian saint and virgin, who was martyred in the early 4th century at the hands of the pagan emperor Maxentius. According to her hagiography, she was both a princess and a noted scholar, who became a Christian around the age of fourteen, and converted hundreds of people to Christianity. Over 1,100 years following her martyrdom, St. Joan of Arc identified Catherine as one of the Saints who appeared to her and counselled her.[3]
The Orthodox Church venerates her as a Great Martyr, and celebrates her feast day on 24 or 25 November (depending on the local tradition). In the Catholic Church she is traditionally revered as one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers. In 1969 the Catholic Church removed her feast day from the General Roman Calendar;[4] however, she continued to be commemorated in the Roman Martyrology on November 25.[5] In 2002, her feast was restored to the General Roman Calendar as an optional memorial.
Its weird how reading the above brought a tear to only one of my eyes. I believe my emotions may have been highjacked by the thought coming into my consciousness, that we have fireworks called Catherine wheels.  Well she is certainly commemorated in this artists blog! Blessing love and honour upon the soul of St Catherine.

Have a good day my brothers and sisters and know that you are loved.
Pass this on in words actions and deeds.
