Late night art news. With some views from myself and others.

Welcome to today's blog which is late in the day, but full of my art with little words.

All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

~ Edgar Allan Poe (1809-1849) ~

 When one realises
one is asleep,
at that moment
one is already half-awake.

~ P. D. Ouspensky (1878-1947)
Russian Journalist, Writer & Lecturer ~

 At every point in time,
there are infinite possibilities
and a parallel reality exists for each possibility,
so there are literally infinite branches...

~ the character of Daniel Jackson in the tv series Stargate -
Episode: 'Point Of View' ~

Thoughts are boomerangs,
returning with precision to their source.
Choose wisely which ones you throw.

~ Author Unknown ~
(are you the author?)

Above all, a person is his will.
As he wills in this life,
so he becomes when he departs from it.
Therefore let your will be fixed on attaining Brahman.

~ Chandogya Upanishad ~

You are given the gifts of the gods,
you create your reality
according to you beliefs.
Yours is the creative energy
that makes your world.
There are no limitations to the self
except those you believe in.

No matter how much I protest,
I am totally responsible for everything
that happens to me in my life.

~ Author Unknown ~

 What you love you empower
and what you fear you empower -
and what you empower you attract.

( Am I the Author Unknown!)

Below is  an art `peace` I am
working on using boxes which I
                                                          am covering with paintings that
although I like, are not good
enough on there own to stand
out as works I should be happy
for people to have as individual
pieces. Yet cutting them up and
arranging them on the outside of
the boxes is working for me.
Also I have put a couple of handful
of paintings in one of the larger
boxes!  Oh ye can see it at its outset
below painted black. On this one the
lid will be able to be lifted of and people
can then see paintings inside which I
do like as good works in there own
right! Next week the black paint will
be dry for sure and I can stick more of
my work on and maybe also some more
gold leaf to show the value of what I
produce and my worth as an artist. Not
just as an artist but as a human being.
(That was my sister Viv`s comment who
is sitting this night on my sofa next to a
snoring Maisy the Staff De Bordeaux.)
