Fish on Friday. A short meander through my art and Universal intelligence.

Good day brothers and sisters. Welcome to this blog coming to you from a small room in a town 30miles outside London, England. The Goldilocks planet called Earth, sitting in a just right solar system in an obscure galaxy called the Milky Way.

This photo below should be viewed
with you tilting your head down to the left.. Okay I could spend ten minutes going back into the files and switch it around, but all I am asking is that you put your left elbow on your left knee, ( this is of course assuming that you have both of these and are capable of carrying out this maneuver) if not ask someone to tilt the moniter for you!

 The principles I am going to type below are common to mystical beliefs and appear to be;

1) the existence of a Divine formless force underlying everything.
2)each person has a true inner self, kernel or spark surrounded by egos or wills clouding their perceptions and ability to know thy inner self and the Divine.
3)using meditation/prayer to allow connection or alignment of the inner self with the Divine and thus experiencing direct knowledge of the Divine, rather than thru the intellect with its egos which is inherently limited, or through Imams or Priest who can be on some occasions a help on ones spiritual journey, but on others can be a hindrance or a down right barrier!
4)our purpose is self knowledge of the inner self, to know who we are, to know thyself. When we are here we see the illusion of separateness and self will dissolve for the reality of love will conquer all that is temporary.

"Unmovable disinterest brings man into likeness of God. ... To be full of things is to be empty of God; to be empty of things is to be full of God." ~ Meister Eckhart

Practical Mysticism: In order to say 'no' to the ripples we face in daily life, we must 'know' who we are. Beyond the body, personality, emotions and mind .... we are one with the One. From this deeper perspective the little things ... even the big ones ... seem irrelevant. Knowing this we can become imperturbable. Still caring about others, but knowing that nothing is personal. Know yourself to be the Self. This is practical mysticism for facing daily life.

"Spiritual relationship is far more precious than physical. Physical relationship divorced from spiritual is body without soul."
~ Mahatma Gandhi

 mys·ti·cism
ˈmistəˌsizəm/Submit
noun
belief that union with or absorption into the Deity or the absolute, or the spiritual apprehension of knowledge inaccessible to the intellect, may be attained through contemplation and self-surrender.

This overcoming of all the usual barriers between the individual and
the Absolute is the great mystic achievement.  In mystic states
we both become one with the Absolute and we become aware
of our oneness.  This is the everlasting and triumphant mystical
tradition, hardly altered by differences of clime or creed.

Our bread and water are of one table:  the progeny of Adam are as a single soul.

Muhammad Iqbal

You are a second world in miniature; the sun and moon are within you, and also the stars.

Origen

If you wish to know the Divine, feel the wind
on your face and the warm sun on your hand.

Buddha

Ye are all leaves of one tree and the fruits of one branch.

Bahá'u'lláh

All are caught in an inescapable
network of mutuality, tied in a
                    single garment of destiny.  Whatever
                    affects one directly, affects all
indirectly.  I can never be what I
ought to be until you are what you
ought to be, and you can never
be what you ought to be until
I am what I ought to be.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
