My Art Unfettered. An ever yearning for more!

Let us hang upon the lips of all the faithful, for the Spirit of God breathes upon every one of them.
                                                                                                ST PAULINUS OF NOLA

I think of the above and of Jesus hung on the cross and know that this is our saving grace. We are to realize the greatness gifted to us and let it shine forth and enlighten all before us.

This teaches that Jesus did not die in vain. Rather that He did not die, but demonstrates He does infact live in and through us.

                          THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT
A royal priesthood, a holy nation

Do you not realize or understand your own nobility? Each of those who have been anointed with the heavenly chrism becomes a Christ by grace, so that all are kings and prophets of the heavenly mysteries.
                                                                                          THE HOMILIES OF ST MACARIUS

In Old Testament times only kings and priests received a mystical anointing. But after our Lord, the true king and eternal priest, had been anointed by God the heavenly Father with this mystical unction, it was no longer only kings and priests but the whole Church that was consecrated with the anointing of chrism,(1)  because every person in the Church is a member of the eternal King and Priest.
Because we are a royal and priestly nation, we are anointed after the washing of baptism, that we may be bearers of the name of Christ.
                                                                                                ALCUIN
 (1) Chrism or chrismation, more commonly known in the West as confirmation: the second sacrament of Christian initiation, conferring on each of the baptized the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Be well my brothers and sisters and let us go forth this day as lights and beacons shining an healing love on all around us. Blessings, peace and love to you. Pass it on. Your bro Peter.
